[6.0] "Not quite a one-match show, though the Callihan-Swann main event was by far the best match of the night. The Elgin-Larry D match was also a strong big-man battle and had a nice post-match moment with Larry earning an Impact contract, and the three-way tag and Taya-Havok were decent if standard fare. Elsewhere, the Edwards-Austin bout was OK but didn't really play to either man's strengths (I've never really been sold on Edwards "hardcore" gimmick), though it is likely to lead toward a more standard X-Division bout between the two. The matches between Impact and PWR talent were rather predictable in their results. With Callihan, the Crists and Fulton all picking up wins, the main goal of the show seemed to be to make OVE look like a force going in to Hard to Kill, so mission accomplished."

[6.0] "No Surrender was a solid show with a good crowd. The three way tag team match: oVe vs. The Desi Hit Squad vs. The Rascalz It was better than I expected. - Hoss Fight Scramble: Another good match where Fulton was the star, he improved a lot this year and I can see big things for him next year. - Tables match: Eddie Edwards vs. Ace Austin was very good, these two can't have a bad match and Ace Austin definitely is going be the future of this company. ***1/2 - Impact World Title match: Sami Callihan vs. Rich Swann was a great main event as these two continue to deliver in their matches. ****"

[6.0] "Agree with almost everything written in the comment below so won't repeat and just mention the final two matches. Callihan vs Swann was an epic. The whole show was built up for that match and it delivered big time. Brilliant to have oVe on home turf, it really added to Swann's underdog effort. Sami's most technical match I can remember and worthy of the matchguide. The rest of the show was pretty standard and I didn't enjoy Edwards vs Austin, I much prefer the non-hardcore version of Eddie."

[7.0] "No Surrender didn't surrender to the usual Impact Plus issues. Minor sound issues occurred but overall match quality was good. Opening 3 way match was perfectly solid for what it was, with the local fellas getting a good showing, despite being overshadowed by Trey. Rayne vs. Rosemary happened. Hardly much worth talking about, given the time they got which is a shame as I think they could've had something solid. Rayne is a great heel though, her pre-match promo was great. Rhino's matches were pretty lethargic, showing that as great as he was, Rhino needs to be carried. The second of the two had more action, the first was a gorgeous squash match. Elgin and Larry D had a good, hard hitting match that played to both men's strengths. Elgin can truly have a good match (at least) with anyone, and Larry was really solid for a big guy. Three way tag was really solid and had plenty of action from all six men. I'm not surprised that there was a highlight on oVe, found them to be the stars of this match. Hoss fight was fun, bit hard to follow at times but had its moments. Willie Mack was definitely the star here. Knockouts title match is basically the same one we've seen before. It was alright but didn't bring anything new. The result was expected, just as it was before. Edwards and Austin had another great match in their rivalry. This wasn't slow and was well planned and structured. Liked the throwback to the Edwards/Callihan baseball bat incident, as well as Edwards impaling Austin with a table's legs. Read somewhere that Austin's soul left his body. I can't disagree. The main event was another classic between Swann and Callihan. Their previous matches were great and this one was another great chapter in their rivalry. Swan took Callihan to the limit, and the champ had to pull out his best moves to win this one. There was nothing flashy, just two men wrestling and brawling, giving us a main event worthy of any show. This was a fun event overall, despite a couple of oddballs."
