[7.0] "Unlike most of PWG's 2008, this show felt like a very big deal. After a tepid undercard, highlighted the athleticism of Castagnoli and the quirkiness of Kikutaro, the last four matches delivered big time. The Young Bucks gained important momentum in a hard fought battle, Bosh's farewell was a success, the tag team title match was great wrestling and the main event provided drama that the crowd ate up. Giving the crowd what they wanted was a smart move, and PWG as much needed momentum as they head toward year's end."
[9.0] "The show that I consider to be the beginning of a new era for PWG (which is still going). The first anniversary show to take place in Reseda, both titles change, it feels like a new beginning in many ways. Card starts slow, but Chris Bosh's excellent retirement match and the iconic main event make this a must-see and the preferred starting point for the promotion, in my opinion."
[9.0] "Die ersten drei Matches sind solide die man sich ansehen kann aber nicht muss. Vor dem Match Kikutaro vs Necro Butcher sagte Excalibur: Country Roads take me home, to the place where is was born und dann God Damnit und ich bekam einen Lachflash. Das Match fing echt als Comdey an wurde aber ernst und es flogen nur so dann die Stühle auf Kikutaro (***) Ein Bonuspunkt für die Comedy, das Stühlemeer und nach was der Butcher Kikutaro pinnte. Das Three Way Tag Team Match war sehr stark mit unzähligen Spots die Bucks waren da schon so geil (***3/4). Erster Kracher und mein Highlight der ultimative Boston Crab von KAZMA an alle Andere Moment of the Night. Zu Chris Bosh vs Scorpio Sky (***1//2) mehr im Guide. Co Main Event stark aber kein typischer Kracher hatten auch wegen dem Main Event nicht genug Zeit (***1/4). Zum Main Event (****1/2) auch mehr im Guide. Solide erste Hälfte aber ab dem Three Way Tag Team Match ging der Event so richtig ab, 9 Punkte."
[8.0] "Insgesamt eine gute Show. Die ersten drei Matches waren in Ordnung, aber nichts besonderes. Kikutaro gegen Necro gefiel mir, bis auf das geniale Ende weniger. Mit dem Tag Team Three Way und Bosh vs. Sky gab es dann zwei starke Matches. Strong & Generico gegen Age of the Fall war in Ordnung, hätte ich aber stärker erwartet. Der Main Event war sehr stark und ein perfekter Fehdenabschluss."
[7.0] "Gute Show mit toller Stimmung. Auf der Card ist kein schlechtes Match, auch wenn die upper Midcard etwas dünn ist, Nicholls/Mercury vs Bomberry/Perkins kann hier aber durchaus überzeugen. Die zweite Hälfte ist dann wirklich gut und hat 2 gute (Tag Team Title Match u. Tag Team Three Way) und 2 sehr gute Matches (Scorpio - Bosh u. Main Event). Der Main Event ist einfach klasse und schließt die Show (und das 5te PWG Jubiläum) sehr schön ab."
