[6.0] "OK show overall which saw ample Steve Austin Stephanie interaction segments, the highlight of which was when Steve sprayed Stephanie with the mustard. Also the hardcore match where we see Tazz dunk Raven's head in a toilet filled with piss, the crowd initially pops but then goes pretty silent when they see Raven's hair got soaked in pee. The best match of the night was Chris Jericho & The Dudley Boyz (Buh Buh Ray Dudley & D-Von Dudley) vs. Christian, Edge & Kurt Angle. The Dudley Boyz interview before the match was also good. Show Rating: 6.35/10"

[6.0] "This was a solid show with good storytelling between the Stephanie and Stone Cold story to cap off the show by having her cost Austin a shot at the WWF title. Rock/Kane was probably the best match with Rock selling the injury well all match long"

[5.0] "A pure filler episode due to it falling on New Year's Day and with the anticipated lower viewing figures in mind. All the 4 ratings are a bit harsh, but it's true that if you skip this you're missing practically nothing."

[8.0] "I liked this edition of raw. The only thing I didn't care about was RtC vs APA&Gunn, still not attracted to their feud."

[7.0] "Ziemlich unterhaltsame Raw Ausagbe.

[7.0] "I generally enjoyed the show, even though it was not the most thrilling of events. It had all the right elements to a decent show; an over arching storyline throughout the show, all the smaller feuds got building, every champion appeared, a good in-ring match (Rock versus Kane), and it made me want to see what happens next. All that being said, it was not unbelievably great either. The opener was a pretty bad brawl, similar to two out of shape boxers going at it; slow draggish punches, and lots of heavy breathing. Stratus getting the title shot for Test then turning on him seemed like an odd way of doing so but alright, let us just have the Test versus Albert match and call it a day. But it picks up soon after, with both 6 Man Tag Team matches being fast paced and well performed, no major gripes, but I do wish that the WWF Champion was in more of a spotlight than a midcard one-off. The Hardcore Championship match was a bit of a mess and is my biggest down of the night. You had Tazz and Raven, two hardcore legends, in a match that was so randomly booked that it left so many questions for me. Why was there a literal noose (yikes) in some trash can in that venue? Why did Tazz not break up the pinfall that was literally within hands distance rather than ignoring it and loosing? Why did Holly just randomly stop chasing Raven and attack someone else? Do not know. It was just all around strange booking. Now with the good stuff. The match between Rock and Kane was pretty good. Rock took some pretty nasty bumps. It set the seeds for Rock versus Angle, and also let Kane advance without cleanly knocking down Rock. The overall story is between Stephanie McMahon and Austin, and I think it is great! McMahon using her princess power over Austin while he just taunts her is golden. Ruining her outfit is such a simple yet hilarious was to progress her hatred for Austin. Not to mention the scene where McMahon gives the beer and hotdogs to Austin and he responds with beating the hell out of some poor fool. The culmination of the night is when McMahon fast counts Regals pin to push Austin over the edge. It really makes me want to see what happens next."

Tables Match as usual.
