There were two very good bouts though, first being Jericho vs Kane, where they both executed perfectly the big guy vs smaller guy scenario. The second one was Rikishi vs The Rock, which was a little surprise to me, especially since they almost didn't brawl outside of the ring, but instead got the crowd invested with normal wrestling. Also the Elimination Match with Dudleys, Hardys, RtC and Christian & Edge was a fun contest, but everything else was mid at best. And of course the main event couldn't be anything else than a garbage brawl with Hunter and Austin killing time before they could go to the finish, which was a murder. So yeah, sadly I feel like it's 1999 once again. |

Opener is a fun little sprint and good debut for molly Holly, but really short for more (5/10) Radicalz vs. Not-DX is a nice undercard match mostly because the Radicalz are that good, wish K-Kwik had more time in ring since his sequence with Malenko/Benoit was the best part of the match (6/10) Kane/Jericho was a solid bout for a pretty silly feud, nice job on the pre match promo for Jericho trying to make it seem serious (6/10) Regal/Holly had some good technical wrestling, with Regal working over the injured arm, but it was short and ened with a dumb DQ (4/10) Rock/Rikishi started off with a lot of energy and surprisingly ended up being my favorite match of the show (7/10) Ivory/Lita was a bit rough and short but Lita getting bloodied at least makes it more memorable (4/10) Angle/Taker was dissapointing the body double ending wasn't to my liking and Taker in this era is pretty mid at best, Angle is awesome though so this isn't awful (4/10) The last elimination tag, was basically just a match, Hardy's were cool, Dudleys and E&C did well, Right to Censor were there (5/10) Austin/Triple H is a solid enough brawl with a memorable ending to the show, but I don't think its either man's best bout (6/10) |

The opening match was good fun since Crash always had excellent chemistry with TnA, the Molly Holly character made her ppv debut here and looks like a star already (we all knew she was ahead of the pack in WCW, but this was a whole new audience that she impressed). But, it's also notable that Regal vs Holly looks sooo good on paper, yet the match had no real build and it just. falls. flat. pffftt - depressing throw away match that should have been at least solid. If you want to see a match that embodies "throw away", it's this one and that is something i have a hard time admitting/typing! Would have made much more sense to give Regal & Blackman the night off and stick Holly in with his "cousins". *shrug* Lita is opened up hardway by potato mistake via Ivory (results are gory). Angle vs Undertaker features a Halloween Havoc 1990 finish, also The Undertaker's gear did not arrive with him so he had to wear The Godfather's snakeskin pants, and he looks kinda stupid in the process, hilarious. Finally definitely of note: Steve Austin does but doesn't murder Triple H in a bit that would be reimagined for Smackdown: Here Comes The Pain to less *absolutely positively* fatal results (ie: better). Recommended? LOL! no. Not unless you're binge watching this time frame and reliving things for the sake of continuity. Or, if this is the bread and butter of your youth. The opener is solid fun if you're a fan of any of the contestants and that hardway is somethin' else - but really, there is no reason to watch this show outside of the aforementioned reasonings. |

While Survivor Series has a great concept of the traditional elimination matches, the two matches showcased here are forgettable because they are filled with rushed pin falls and the teams feel randomly put together. For example Right to Censor had to give up half their team to Edge and Christian and even though both teams are heel, they are just not believable together. While only one match on the card is something I'd consider bad (William Regal v Hardcore Holly), nothing here is amazing either and the best matches here are just okay for me. It does have a fun brawl where Steve Austin tries to murder Triple H at the end, and that's the most memorable match on the card and it was still nowhere near what we would see on No Way Out the next year. |

This was a card with a lot of potential but most of the matches came off as pretty standard fare. The upper half of this card was pretty bland overall, forgettable opener (*1/4), okay DX vs Radicalz elimination match (**), another okay Kane vs Jericho match which is probably one of Kane's best ever in all honesty (**) and a dull af European title match that has the basic fundamentals of a good match mostly thanks to Regal's psychology, but there's little heat there to begin with and the ending is stupid (1/2*). Luckily the second half is better as all the three main event matches (Rock/Rikishi - ***1/4, Angle/Taker - **1/2, Austin/HHH - ***) deliver in some way but some of them have their problems. Taker decides to play the "Do a move and then force my opponent to kick out" move from Fully Loaded making Angle look like a chump champ yet again and Austin/HHH, as solid as it is, doesn't really have anything memorable going for it apart from THAT ending. A bit of a hard watch sometimes but there are little nuggets of good here and there. It's definitely better than SS 1999 for sure but it's still a weird outlier in the hot af year of 2000. |

The Radicalz vs Dogg, Gunn, K 'Don't Call Me R-Truth' Kwik and Chyna is decent but nothing to write home about, and feels like a real step down for Benoit. Also, can we please end the Chyna/Guerrero feud already? It was great at first but has gone on WAY too long by this point. Chris Jericho vs Kane was a good match but was a little slow at times. Regal vs Holly was awful, I'm a fan of both these guys but this match is pointless and has an atrocious ending with Holly getting himself DQd because why not. Rock vs Rikishi was match of the night for me, I'm in the minority but I liked Rikishi as a heel, and Rock's selling in this is brilliant, would have liked to see Rikishi win though. Ivory vs Lita is alright, but I think Ivory is one of the most overrated women wrestlers ever. Undertaker and Angle has the best screwy finish I've ever seen but the rest of the match is boring in all honesty. The 8 man elimination match comes across as filler, and people get eliminated way too easily. Austin vs Triple H is ok but way too long and a lot of aimless brawling, also the crowd's not as hot as you'd expect. Check out Rikiski vs Rock but nothing else. |

Bin auch kein Fan von den Survivor Series Tag Team Matches, weil ich finde das die Leute sehr schlecht in diesen Matches dargestellt werden oder viel zu stark. Vor allem wenn die Tag Matches keine Story Line haben dann sind die noch schlimmer. Kurt Angle vs Undertaker war gut aber irgendwie hatte ich das Gefühl das Kurt Angle sehr schwach dargestellt wurde. Was mir noch aufgefallen ist das der Undertaker irgendwie technisch nicht so ganz so viele Moves drauf hat was ein Match wenn es lange geht ein bisschen langweilig macht. Steve Austin vs Triple H. Was war denn das. Match an sich war unterhaltsam. Hat sich nicht wie 35 Minuten Matchzeit angefühlt. Aber was war denn das am Ende. Triple H ist TOT ! . Es interessiert mich jetzt wie sie das jetzt booken. Wie soll man es jetzt verkaufen das Triple H keine lange Verletzung hat . |

William Regal vs Hardcore Holly Mattenwrestling wie ein William Regal es einfach beherscht, gutes Match. The Rock vs Rikishi ist das Match was man erwarten durfte. Brawl, Härte und ein unschönes Ende. Beim Diven Match erkennt man nochmal wie sehr Jaqueline, Sable, Kat usw. einfach genervt haben. Der Cut am Auge von Lita sah echt Böse aus. Undertaker vs Angle(wer zum hänger hat denn dem Undertaker, diese Hose ausgesucht? )Für das Match muss ich sagen das Kurt etwas zu schwach dargestellt wird. Edge&Christian sowie sein Bruder Eric kommen ihm zur hilfe nur damit er mit so einem Finish davon kommt. Beide passen zwar in dem Zeitpunkt schon zueinander aber NWO2006 war ihr bestes Match gegeneinander. Das letzte Survivor Series Tag Team Match war für mich echt Klasse, besonders weil die Hardys&Dudleys zusammen gehalten haben obwohl Sie zu der Zeit gerne auch Konkurenten waren. Der Main Event war für mich gar kein Wrestling Match, Rache für die Aktionen bei der SS 1999 mit einem Ende was man bei Austin erwarten konnte. Fazit:2000 war generell bis auf dem Royal Rumble eine Sache von Benotung im Mittelfeld. Im Vergleich zum Summerslam aber schwächer. 5Punkte |

Konnte Rikishi den Main Eventer nicht abnehmen, da er noch bis vor kurzem seinen dämlichen Tanz ablieferte. (2*) 6. Ivory gegen Lita war hart, wie man an Litas Gesicht erkannte. War auch wieder einmal ein besseres Damen Match bei einem PPV. (2 1/2*) 7. Angle gegen Taker war eine Spur besser als bei Fully Loaded. Trotzdem waren die beiden noch einiges von ihrem NWO06 Match entfernt. (3*) 8. Das zweite TSSEM war schwächer als das erste. (2 1/4*) 9. ME war gut und hart. Leider gibt es einen NO Contest. Fand ich schade. Was sich auch in der Wertung widerspeigelt. (3 1/4*) Die 2000er Series war eine ähnliche Enttäuschung wie die drei Jahre davor. Schade. I am a big Radicalz fan though, my rating would be ** because it did pick up slightly. Kane vs Jericho was good, Kane is a good worker who consistently puts on decent matches and Jericho is obviously a great wrestler, I liked this match, I thought the story was good of Kane beating down Jericho and Jericho being the underdog and fighting back ultimately to lose to a chokeslam, it's great to see back when Kane was booked strong. Underrated match, my rating ***1/4. Regal vs Holly was next which wasn't very good, a slow pace and bad finish however Regal's arm work of Holly was good and Regal's character and mannerism in general were good, my rating *1/4. The Rock vs Rikishi was okay, the crowd were pretty hot for it, the story was good, as was the selling from the Rock. Nothing special though **. Ivory vs Lita was not good but not too offensive but only * for me. Undertaker vs Angle was a hard match to rate, Angle's leg work on Taker was very good and the brawling segments were enjoyable. I felt Angle though did look very weak, Taker made Angle tap out and pinned him just the Ref wasn't looking, plus the fail interference by Edge and Christian and the low blow and the fake angle. I wouldn't mind much if it wasn't for the fact he was the world champion and should be booked like one. I did like the ending as it made it seem that Angle out smartened the Undertaker though, I'm a big fan of both men by the way. My rating would be ***1/2, good match. Das folgende Elimination Match war ebenfalls unterdurchschnittlich schwach für Paarungen dieser Art, auch wenn die Wiedervereinigung der Radicalz für die Zukunft ein Lichtblick ist. Jericho und Kane haben absolut keine Chemie miteinander - das jedoch konsequent bis heute nicht. Die Fehde und generell die Niederlage nimmt Jericho weiter einiges an Momentum, das er bis zum SummerSlam eigentlich noch ausreichend gesammelt hatte. Das European Title Match komplettiert dann den extrem schwachen Start in den Abend, bis Rikishi und Rock ein überraschend solides Match auf die Beine stellen - auch wenn die durch die schwachsinnige Fehde sowieso schon angeschlagene Credibility von Rikishi weiter zerstört wurde. Women's Title Match war trotz Lita Käse. Das World Title Match war solide und das Finish ist ein smarter Ausweg für den unterhaltsamen Heel-Champion, der ansonsten aber gerne etwas stärker dargestellt werden darf... Das zweite Elimination Match des Abends war einen Tick besser als das Erste, wurde aber erst durch die Zusammenarbeit nach dem Match gegen RTC über den Einheitsbrei hinweg gehoben. Den Main Event fand ich persönlich großartig. Eine sehr intensive Schlacht zwischen Austin und Hunter mit einigen harten Aktionen und einem zwar völlig überzogenen, aber sicher unvergesslichen Finish. Insgesamt also ein mieser PPV, bei dem eigentlich nur der Main Event herausrag. Der hat aber wirklich richtig viel Spaß gemacht und gibt der Wertung einen Schub bis auf 4 Punkte. |

Er begann durchschnittlich mit dem Six Man Tag Team Match. Es folgte das für mich beste Match des Abends mit dem dem Elimination Match mit den Radicalz. Die ich damals schon immer sehr stark fand und deren Mitglieder fast immer ein Garant für tolle Matches waren. Weiter ging es mit durchschnittlichen Matches wie Jericho gegen Kane und das European Title Match. Rikishi gegen The Rock war zwar auch nur durchschnittlich aber hat mich noch positiv überrascht. Da hatte ich weniger erwartet. Auch wenn ich die Story damals sehr interessant fand. Ivory war nie mein Fall und das Match gegen Lita war es auch nicht. Undertaker gegen Angle war noch eins der besseren Matches. Vor allem mit einem innovativen und überraschenden Ende. Eine wirklich gute Idee und sehr gut durchgeführt. Also ich konnte da wirklich nicht erkennen das es sich nicht um Kurt Angle handelte der da die Last Ride Powerbomb einstecken musste. Vom zweiten Elimination Match war ich eher enttäuscht. Da hatte ich mehr erwartet. Wie der Rest halt nur Durchschnitt. Der Main Event war dann allerdings wieder sehenswert, aber sicherlich hätten die beiden noch mehr zeigen können. Aber das Ende in der Parking Area war dann wirklich sehr gut gemacht und ein Schocker. |

Sie gingen aber auch beide nur 5 Minuten. Der Rest war wie gesagt in Ordnung. Es gab aber im Gegensatz zu den letzten PPVs kein einziges wirklich gutes Match. Man kann den PPV gut gucken ohne sich zu langweilen. Man wird aber auch zu keinem Zeitpunkt vor Begeisterung durch die Decke gehen. |

Solide sind auch die anderen Midcard Matches, die ihren Zweck durchaus erfüllen, ohne aber wirkliches Showstealer Potential zu haben. Dies ist umso fataler, weil danach nämlich alle Main Event Matches auf ganzer Linie enttäuschen. The Rock und Rikishi zeigen einen durchschnittlichen Kampf, leider interessiert sich keiner dafür, weil der große Heel Turn von Rikishi ein riesiger Flop war und die Fehde gegen The Rock nicht wirklich gut ankam. Der Undertaker und Kurt Angle haben zu diesem Zeitpunkt leider noch keine Chemie im Ring (ihr Match einige Jahre Später ist um Längen besser), liefern ein lahmes World Titel Match ohne nennenswerte Glanzpunkte. Dazu kommt das schreckliche Outfit des Totengräbers, dass einfach nicht zu dieser Figur passen will. Im Main Event brawlen Austin und Triple H durch die Halle - schade nur, dass sie nicht ihren besten Tag erwischt haben. Dieser Kampf ist wohl eines der schwächsten Matches innerhalb dieser Fehde, dazu kommt ein peinliches Finish, dass mir so gar nicht zugesagt hat. Ich mag voraufgezeichnete Finishs eh nicht, wenn das ganze dann noch wie ein schlechter Hollywood Stunt rüberkommt, dann zieht es die Wertung natürlich noch weiter in den Keller. Insgesamt also eine Survivor Series mit vielen belanglosen Kämpfen und schwachen Main Events. Nach Wrestlemania und dem Summer Slam die nächste Enttäuschung bei den Big Four! |

Rikishi (als Auflösung der 1-jährigen (! ) "Wer überfuhr Austin"-Story war er ohnehin ein Witz) gegen Rock konnte mangels Glaubwürdigkeit nicht ziehen. Uncleane Taker-Niederlage in einem bis dahin guten Match und das übertriebene Finish im MainEvent (Autocrash) war unbefriedigend, ein klarer Austin-Sieg war überfällig. Lichtblicke sind Kane/Jericho und das letzte Elimination-Tag - spart man sich diese Series, verpasst man nicht viel. |

Elimination-Match #1 ist durchgehend schnell geführt, viel Technik, einzig Eddies schmucklose frühe Eliminierung ist unverständlich (7/10). Kane vs. Jericho 7/10. European-Title-Match: Regal zeigt ein ganz gutes Match bis dieses jäh von Holly unterbrochen wird (4/10). The Rock vs. Rikishi gefällt vor allem durch die hohe Intensität, die in keiner Sekunde des Kampfes abhanden kommt (8/10). Angle vs. Taker beginnt ziemlich langweilig, eine wüste Prügelei ohne jeden Sinn, spätestens ab dem Eingreifen von Edge und Christian wird es aber richtig gut und das Finish ist sowieso obergeil (8/10). Blut im Women’s-Title-Match, wenn auch ungewollt, hat man selten gesehen, ansonsten gerade noch erträglich (4/10). Elimination-Match #2 dank Post-Match-Segment sogar 8/10. Der Main Event ist ein Brawl in bester Attitude-Manier, das Ende haut natürlich dem Fass den Boden ins Gesicht (12/10). Gesamt: 7, 11. |
