406.04.2024Wieczus4.0Well at least it wasn't as bad as last year's WrestleMania. Apart from the hidden gem that is The Radicalz' match there's not much good stuff. A lot of not offensive, but also not really exciting bouts with the opener being the best example. Then Angle vs Benoit vs Jericho didn't really burn the house down and the main event was way too long with a stupid swerve. Also some really bad contests happened, especially the overrated Ladder Match that was just a mindless spotfest with nobody even trying to win the match. Hardcore Battle Royal was a cool idea, but fell flat and the botched finish didn't help, while T&A vs Head Cheese put the crowd to sleep, plus obviously some dumbass oversexualised women's match had to take place. Additionaly I feel bad that Kane & Rikishi vs DX didn't get enough time because it had a potential to be a pretty good bout. All in all not the most exciting PPV in the world, but not the worst I guess.

704.03.2024Dirty Diego7.0Should of not been a fatel four way macth even though the macth itself was decent it didnt make sense it should of been the rock vs triple h which we would get at backlash and judgement day, the reason I rate this show above average is because of the classic triangle ladder macth between Hardys, Dudleys and edge and Christian and all time classic macth, to me the 15minute hardcore macth was fun and funny to watch I loved that 24/7 shit , the triple threat between Jericho, Benoit and Angle could of been better coming from those 3 , but this did not feel like a wrestlemania it felt like a b level ppv

914.02.2024edgyfr5.0It was fine. A very good match and a bunch of fine matches, at least there is not much awful things, which makes it fine enough, is also quite diverse, you get a bit of everything.
1024.01.2024HDLaw905.0Really underwhelming Wrestlemania and, overall an average show. Considering the build up (which was quite decent to be fair), the crowd absolutely dragged the quality of it down. A lot of unnecessary and inconsequent matches. The saving grace was the triangle ladder match, that still holds up to this day. The only negative thing about the match is the crowd (again), and the fact that it seemed like most of the time the teams were not even trying to win the match, but only in doing the big spots. It wasn't a terrible show, but ends up being one of the worst PPV's of the year 2000 for the WWF (which, in general, was absolutely fantastic).

1325.12.2023wakaflockaflamewar6.0I actually prefer the fairly underrated/over-hated Mania 15 to this, though both have the same issue of being underwhelming Manias that don't feel much larger than regular PPVs considering it's in the middle of their pop-culture prime, and with so many great PPVs in 2000 this one definitely does stand out as a mis-step. Still, the triangle ladder match is brilliant and obviously one of the most influential matches ever. I also loved Chyna/Too Cool v The Radicalz - super fun and a great showcase for Chyna. Most of the rest is merely solid though T&A v Head Cheese was a crowd killer that should've been on Heat despite me liking all the participants in it, and I definitely could've done without the cat fight.

1719.11.2023kewf19885.0This WM had some really good matches, most notably the ladder match and the triple threat match, but there was a ton of filler and bad matches on this show just for the purpose of giving the wrestlers a WM payoff. The two tag matches that the hardcore title match (which was good for what it was, which was comedy) was between were awful, as was the women's "match" and the DX tag. The main event was solid but Rock definitely should have won (if WCW had its act together at this time that could have really hurt the WWF)/

2326.10.2023Scott Bailey5.0Not only is this a disappointing Wrestlemania, but considering how good a year 2000 was for PPV events this is one of the most disappointing shows of all time. There are a few gems here which keeps the show slightly above average such as the outstanding triangle ladder match which was a blueprint to the classic TLC stipulation. Benoit, Angle and Jericho also had a good triple threat match together however it's not as good as it could have been because of the short time given as well as the baffling double fall stipulation. The main event is messy, but it's a better match than it's given credit for with Triple H and the Rock delivering a solid match for the last 20 minutes. The biggest disappointment with this show is that its loaded with tag matches that look like they should be on a random Raw episode. For example Kane vs X-Pac had a rivalry that ended in a throwaway tag match. There are no classic one-on-one encounters that have made Mania events feel special and that's where it falters most. Al Snow and Steve Blackman vs T&A as well as The Kat vs Terri are both abysmal to watch and stand out as two of the worst matches in Mania history.

3215.06.2023lukerocker94.0Card starts off with Bossman/buchana vs Godfather/Brown which is not bad but pretty forgettable (5/10) , then you have the Hardcore match that is just 15 minutes of boring brawling with weapons and a messed up finish (0/10). Another tag match thats nothing to write home about in T&A vs Snow/Blackman but a bit worse than the previous tag bout thanks to the dumb Cheese thing (4/10). The Triangle Ladder match is the best match of the night by a long shot with the three teams doing soome pretty cool spots (8/10). The Cat fight is not even a match and just there to have some fanservice (0/10) Trios tag is a decent mostly comedy bout with wrestlers that could do more than that (6/10). Triple Threat is the second best match of the show with some nice wrsetling even if the crowd only cared about Jericho (7/10) Kane and Rikishi VS DX is innofensive filler that gets an extra point for Kane killing Pete Rose again (5/10) and th Fourway Main Event is long overbooked and not that good considering the wrestlers they had working (5/10). Overall a pretty poor mania in my opinion

3915.03.2023Cal16414.0Worse than I thought. Going in the match card didnt exactly excite me apart from the ladder Triple threat and euro continental triple threat and they both delivered enough. Everything else was bad or average.
4007.03.2023GMS184.0Everything up til the awesome Triangle Ladder match is pretty dire, afterwards is better but not by a lot. A main event that's silly but potentially fun on paper but just silly and boring in execution. The tag and Eurocontinental title matches and some admittedly cool spots in the main save this from being a total write-off, but at 3+ hours, this is a chore that ends with the world's most obvious heel turn as if anyone cared.
4107.03.2023AG323.0You wouldn't think 2000 is talked about as the peak year of WWF with this show. One singles match (a Cat Fight), a really overbooked and dumb main event among other shit. The triple threat ladder was awesome, Euro/IC match was pretty decent and the Chyna/Too Cool vs the Radicalz was pretty fun. Production and audio was all over the place and there were some real classic WWF stuff that doesn't hold up. 3 hours with a poor first hour, few entertaining parts and a long ass main event with a really flat ending made this a pretty poor show.

4703.11.2022ScoobyDoo4204.0This WrestleMania was bad, a WrestleMania shouldn? t be 4/10 stars it should be amazing but most matches weren? t really good but matches like that TLC and Intercontinental were amazing in my opinion.
4818.09.2022Giantfan19806.0I think this might be my favorite Mania going all the way back to Mania 8 honestly. The roster was definitely beefed up at this point with the WCW defectors and most of the mid card Attitude Era garbage was being phased out and replaced with guys who could put on good matches so we weren't subject to crappy undercards with a good main event. This show wasn't without it's problems though. The first three matches were junk and the show was saved by the Ladder Match. The cat fight match was just offensively bad and probably the high tied of the bad era for the Women's division. Kane and Riki Vs DX was crap, and the main event while pretty good, pissed off just about everybody. They should have started the show with Angle/Jerich/Benoit to get the crowd going then done the ladder match mid way with the junk filler padding the good stuff in between. Crowd was burnt out by the main event with the lopsided match booking. Still a decent show. Next years show would pretty much blow all previous Mania's out of the water.
4927.08.2022Derek Joists6.0To call this a one match show would be harsh, as there's a good deal of enjoyable stuff here, but the ladder match stands out and is probably the only one worth a rewatch. There's also a few matches here that belonged nowhere near a PPV, scrapping one of them and giving more time to the double title match would have made for a better show, as would shaving ten minutes off of the main event. Not a bad show, but a flawed one, unfortunately for the biggest show of the year.

5209.07.2022flightaker3216.0The previous two PPVS were both really good and then they delivered such a mediocre WrestleMania of all things. The first 3-5 matches besides the 3 way ladder match were not good at all. Kane and X-Pac had been feuding for what seemed like forever just for them to get thrown in a tag team match that got less time then a throwaway tag match between two newly formed teams. The main event was the easiest match to book just have The Rock win the title, it seemed they were headed that way with all the momentum he had just built up on Raw and Smackdown leading into the show but instead we got a swerve in the main event for no reason. At least Rock got a post match beat down to send people home somewhat happy. Matches from best to work: Tag team ladder match ****½, 4 way elimination ***¾, Angle/Benoit/Jericho ***½, Six man tag **¾, Kane/Rikishi vs X-Pac/Dogg **, Dlo/Godfather vs Bossman/Buchanan **, Hardcore battle royal *½, T&A/Headcheese DUD, Cat fight NR

6212.11.2021Mahrsbars5.0How does this show have a score two points higher than Mania 15, this show sucks. Okay that's a little extreme. let's start with the positives. The Triangle Ladder match is my favorite of the TLC gang's group of matches together, they really delivered on this night. As for the rest of the show... it stinks. Shout out to Kat vs Terri, Headcheese vs T&A and Bull/Bossman vs D-Lo and Godfather for really stinking up the joint. All the other matches are just okay, and the main event is about as good as any other main event from this era excluding the two great HHH Cactus matches from the Rumble and No Way Out. Thumbs are... in the middle i guess, but they're leaning down.

7307.02.2021Longa-466.0An was bleibt diese Mania hängen?

9303.03.2019Makai Club 5.0Okay WrestleMania. You do have some really good matches, including a famous one in the Ladder match. But the undercard is pretty average and even somewhat disappointing given some of the names. Who ever thought this card was WM worthy. Sack them. BEST TO WORST: The Dudley Boyz vs. Christian & Edge vs. The Hardy Boyz - [****]. Triple H vs. Mick Foley vs. The Big Show vs. The Rock - [***3/4]. Chyna & Too Cool (Grandmaster Sexay & Scotty 2 Hotty) vs. The Radicalz (Dean Malenko, Eddie Guerrero & Perry Saturn) - [***]. WWF Hardcore Title Battle Royal - [**1/2]. Kurt Angle vs. Chris Benoit vs. Chris Jericho - [**1/2]. DX vs Kane & Rikishi - [**]. Bull Buchanan & The Big Bossman vs. D-Lo Brown & The Godfather - [**]. 9413.02.2019RPMX1235.0This Mania is not as bad as everyone says it is. I've seen some people call it absolutely terrible, it's not, but it's not without its share of problems either. One thing I can praise this Mania for is its variety. I love the mix of hardcore matches, technical wrestling matches and brawl type matches. The matches themselves are questionable but the variety is not a bad thing. Most of the traditional tags on this show are garbage save for a pretty good Chyna/Too Cool vs Radicalz match. (**1/4) I wanted to really like the Eurocontinental triple threat and I was pleasantly surprised, it's not as good as it should've been because of the 2 out of 3 falls gimmick but it was still a great showcase for all three men. (***1/2) The main event is a pretty good attitude era brawl of a match, but there's two main problems. One, the length, and two, the f**kin McMahon in Every Corner nonsense that plagues the whole match. Overall, a very mixed wrestlemania but one with its fair share of highlights, main one being the incredible Triangle Ladder match, definitely worth a watch. Apart from that, I'd say check out the Triple Threat match and the main event if you're really curious as to how good of a Mania main event it is. I'm split down the middle honestly. Also the less said about the Cat Fight the better.

Insgesamt 6 Punkte.

9917.11.2018Amico Leonard6.0I Just saw it in its entirety and I now understand why I Never heard nothing special about this WrestleMania, by far one of the worst ever (let me get this straight, when I say one of the worst we are speaking about a WrestleMania scale comparative). Not a bad event of course but really nothing special, if it wasn? t WrestleMania it could have been a monthly PPV event that nobody remember 6 months later. Non a single match involved in the card (I think this is the first time ever) and a venue not so WrestleMania caliber. The triangle ladder match between the historic three teams (Dudleyz hardyz and Edge & Christian) will be remembered forever becouse it revolutionized the ladder match concept (like Shawn and Razor did 6 years before in the first ever televised Ladder match). The Hardy Boyz are probably the greatest tag team of all times and the effort that jeff gave in this matches is unbelievable he is more than Matt associated with Attitude Era and Team Xtreme. The Main Event gave us some interesting moments, the mick Foley retirement first and the action between the two finalists The Rock and Triple H , classical Attitude style, but the end of the match and the sequence between Shane & Vince ruined the match in my opinion removing at least 2 votes at the match. It could have worked better also becouse I presume the hype for the match was really high (at eve it was predicted as the greatest WrestleMania main event ever) . To mention also the triple threat match between Angle Jericho and Benoit that in future years could have been the main event of any Mania. Great match ruined by the stipulation that didn? t gave the match the essential epic. To mention chyna that with Too Cool defeated Radicalz (eddie malenko saturn). The rest of the card is garbage Attitude Era style the most overrated period ever with tits asses as the main reason of the programs, low athletic ability and soap opera kind of storylines...
6 Punkte.
