| 8 | 13.11.2018 | Yekta | 6.0 | All I can say is thank god for the main event! The opener was the first disappointment of the night when it was revealed that David Starr was no longer able to face KUSHIDA due to flight cancellations (couldn't be helped). Enter Kurtis Chapman, what he lacks in experience pales in comparison to his lack of character and overall look. Going 10+ minutes with KUSHIDA did none of us any favours, KUSHIDA looked uninterested. DUD LIJ v Ringkampf, this was one i was excited about going in, could easily be a 20-30 minute ring shaker, so much promise.... what we got instead was a pretty by the numbers tag match, underwhelming and short, WALTER didn't do too much, Thatcher ate the the pin and WALTER stamped his feet like a cartoon villain on the outside. EVIL and SANADA were over as hell. **1/2 The Great O-Kharn (w/Gideon Grey) vs Rishi Ghosh was really fun, the intro of O-Kharn by Grey is laugh out loud hilarious and over the top. The match didn't grab everyone's attention but those it did were solidly behind Ghosh. I could be wrong but O-Kharn seems to have ditched the second rope Mongolian chop for a reverse suplex, its a good thing. Grey and O-Kharn are going to be funny to watch in 2019 **3/4 Tetsuya Naito vs Chris Brookes I cannot comment fairly on because I was stuck in a mammoth queue for the poorly planned pop up bar that obscured any view of the action. (Rev Pro please don't book this venue again). I am assured that it was a good solid match but nothing amazing. ZSJ vs Hirooki Goto JUST about saved the first half of the show, great 15 minute match ***3/4 Satoshi Kojima vs Mark Davis was a good opportunity for Davis, *** decent enough, afterwards Kojima thanked Mark for everything and invited him to join Bread Club, they shook hands and everyone smiled. ELP v Romero started out REALLY strong, fast and interesting spots on the outside and into the ring, felt like it slowed down too much after than and then ended on a high *** |

| 12 | 27.10.2018 | Willie Jones | | Ringkampf/LIJ: ***1/3. Good, but it was missing something. Maybe intensity? Fun matchup. Seems like only in Europe will you see these types of matchups. Suzuki/Ishii: ****. Exactly the type of match you would expect they would have. Very enjoyable. Looking forward to the rematch in Japan. |
| 13 | 21.10.2018 | seriousbusiness | 7.0 | Nothing super exciting on this card unlike previous years, at least until the final stretch. Everything on this card ranged from mostly passable to good, which is fine I suppose. Ridgeway vs Ospreay was on it's way to being my MOTN until a very abrupt finish, ****1/4. Suzuki vs Ishii was as good as you would expect, but not a whole lot of room for a special match up, ****1/4. |
