An excellent episode with some decent in-ring action spread throughout, though it's mostly about the humorous out-of-the-ring action. Mr. Socko's here, Vince takes a bedpan to the head, and on top of that we get an excellent main event as well as some solid matches from the likes of Shamrock/Kane and X-Pac/D-Lo, though D-Lo getting his title back this fast is kind of dumb considering how relatively little of a push he gets. It's still all about the main title and the other titles are mostly ignored. |

Dann gibt's das Debüt von Mr. Socko, geniales Segment mit Foley und McMahon im Krankenhaus. Das mit Sable und Jacqueline geht auch immer noch weiter, achja. Genial, Regal kann sich selbst O-Saft pressen. Owen hört auf, weil er Severn verletzt hat. Na mal schaun. Kane gegen Shamrock war okay, interessant, dass der Taker seinem Bruder das Match kostet. Bei Venis gegen Gangrel treibt man sowohl die Story vom Pronostar mit Goldust, als auch vom Vampir mit Christian und Edge weiter. Das passt. Die Probleme von Al Snow mit den Oberen geht weiter. Billy Gunn fehlt bei der DX, das Match war okay. Dann gibt's das allgemein und unglaublich unterhaltsame Segment mit Austin und McMahon im Krankenhaus. Zum Ende gibt's noch einen ordentlichen Main Event. Richtig starke Ausgabe. |

Ist aber jetzt nicht so schlimm, denn so kommt Brown nach drei Wochen wieder an seinen Gürtel. Keine Ahnung, was Violent J & Shaggy 2 Dope geraucht haben, aber als sie die Oddities backstage schicken, werden sie von den Headbangers ziemlich stiff zerlegt. Dann erlebt die WWF die Geburt von Mr. Socko, während Vader zur eigentlichen Lachnummer verkommt. Sable macht das Geschehen dann nicht besser, zumal sie da Haare lässt. Owen Hart in Zivil will keine Leute mehr verletzen, wie löblich. Aber muss man da sofort nach Hause fahren? Unterdessen sind Kane & Taker ja wegen der Vakanz des Gürtels wieder auf Konfrontationskurs, was durch Shamrocks Opportunismus etwas angestachelt wird. Terri Runnels begleitet Val Venis ja nun ganz offiziell, heute zum Count-Out Erfolg über Gangrel, welcher lieber die Brood auflöst und Edge rausschmeisst. Was'n da los? Was bei Terri los ist, als Dustin wieder als Goldust erscheint, kann ich hingegen ganz gut erkennen. Der gute Al Snow nimmt per DQ auch einen Erfolg mit. Road Dogg kann den Verlust des European Gürtels der DX etwas mildern, das Gold bringt sein schneller Sieg über Mark Henry aber nicht zurück. Es folgt stattdessen Entertainment-Gold, als Austin den armen Vince im Krankenhaus besucht. Autsch! Im Mainer bekommt man dann das eigentlich einzig vernünftige Match der Show zu sehen, wobei ein Stuhl und Kane die Entscheidung herbeiführen, während sich in der ersten Zuschauerreihe noch um Rockys Elbowpad gebalgt wird. Sockos Debüt und Austins Attacke sind legendär, aber im Grunde ist da nicht im Ansatz so viel zu bestaunen, wie bei der heissen Episode der Vorwoche. |

Also there are some cool angles and matches especially the main event. Howewer I didn't like D-Lo Brown winning back his European title for a no reason. He will lose title again on the next PPV. |

Besonders interessant waren natürlich die Segmente um McMahon im Krankenhaus mit Mankind und natürlich Austin sowie die Weiterentwicklung um die Brood, den Goldust Return und den ziemlich ansehnlichen Main Event. Aber auch die DX vs Nation Segmente machen spaß. Einziger tiefpunkt bleibt diese lahme Marc Mero vs Sable fehde welche sich nun schon eine gefühlte Ewigkeit zieht. |
