[6.0] "Taker & Kane continue to not attack each other all throughout the show adding to the fact that they are working together. Chyna helps Triple H become the #1 contender by costing X-Pac the match which is interesting because both are a part of Dx. There's a big brawl to end the show after the main event between Owen & Rock vs Taker & Austin."
[7.0] "A lot to enjoy here. The main event is solid, and ends in the brawl we all love as NAO, Mankind and Kane come out to the ring after the bell. DX is having some internal problems as Chyna interferes with X-Pac to help Hunter pin him for the #1 Contendership, before the two of them face off in the ring. Hawk's very real issues with drugs and alcohol continue to be worked into a storyline, which is disgusting. TAKA is suddenly a heel, because apparently Kyoko is his sister? So Kai En Tai take Venis to a room in the back and shut the door, seemingly going to slice off a piece of manmeat. The MMA boys continue to be mad at eachother, and Tiger Ali Singh comes out to the ring for the first time (not counting his moment before Heat), after us not having heard a word about him on Raw since that pre-recorded video months ago. All in all fairly entertaining, and the DX storyline is becoming something big."
[5.0] "Die Nation steht im Ring und will die Tag-Champions - wird aber erst im Mainer die Chance bekommen. Dann gibt es wieder 'Brawl 4 All' und das sollte man schlicht abhaken und vergessen. Kane und Foley spielen die Hardcore-Karte, um die Outlaws auf Distanz zu halten. Hawk stellt sich als realen Mr. Hegstrand vor und entschuldigt sich für seinen Aussetzer in der Vorwoche. Das genügt dann, um einen unvorsichtigen Jarrett zu überraschen, aber Southern Justice, also die ehemaligen Godwinns, vergessen nicht so schnell. Und dann Auftritt Vinnie. Im Gepäck tauchen auch noch Taker und Austin auf, die ganz deutlich, auch auf Kosten der Tag-Gürtel, was miteinander auszumachen haben. Da bildet sich der Mainer zum Slam weiter aus. Im Konstrukt der DX ist die Frage nach dem interkontinentalen Herausforderer natürlich keine Hilfe für die Harmonie, wobei Chyna da deutlich Stellung pro Hemsley bezieht. Hui, Taka turnt zu Kai En Tai und das ist mal ganz schlecht für Val Venis. Shamrock bringt Severn um den Titel und attackiert D-Lo samt Henry. Tiger Ali macht da wirklich nichts Schönes. The Rock beschäftigt im abschliessenden Tag-Match den Singles-Champion Austin schon massiv, aber derweil fällt Owen dem Tombstone zum Opfer. Nach dem Match wird klar - die waren Contender heissen Kane und Mankind. Im Ring ist die Qualität sicherlich überschaubar, der Rest hingegen ist zumindest solide aufgearbeitet und bietet zum Summerslam einige Perspektiven."
[6.0] "Pretty good episode. First hour has too many uninteresting matches. Austin/Taker feud is the best thing on the show. HHH vs X-Pac is very disappointing for me. Howewer it has important ending. Main event is nice. There are also famous segment with Kai En Tai trying to cut off Big Valbowski."
[6.0] "Bessere Show als letzte Woche. Matchqualität war durchaus in Ordnung mit HHH vs Xpac und dem Main Event und die Segmente gefielen mir wie immer gut."
[6.0] "Feiner Auftakt. Sable bei den Oddities, das passt ja mal gar nicht, aber mir gefällts. Brawl 4 All wie immer doof. Kane und Mankind gegen die NAO war gute Unterhaltung. Hawk rehabilitiert sich etwas, na wegen mir. McMahon versucht weiter Unruhe zwischen Austin und dem Taker zu schüren, das passt alles. Gutes Segment. Triple H gegen X-Pac war ordentlich, es scheint aber Probleme bei der DX zu geben. Taka turnt gegen Venis und der wird verschleppt. Bei D-Lo gegen Severn attackiert Shamrock die Nation und kostet so Severn das Match, das bringt Unruhe. D-Lo bekommt derweil nochwas von Edge auf der Stage ab. Blödsinniges Segment mit Singh. Klasse Main Event, am Ende gibt's dann mal wieder Chaos. Achja und Val Venis wird anscheinend entmannt. Die Ausgabe war in Ordnung."
[7.0] "Kane and Mankind run down, and Mankind puts Taker in the Mandible Claw! Kane has a chair and swings at it, but Taker ducks and he NAILS Mankind! Taker grabs the chair and they stare off, and he nails Mankind again! Taker goes after Owen now, leaving Kane be, and the Outlaws run out and attack Kane as Austin and Rock brawl on the floor. All four teams brawl to end the show"
