The Brawl 4 all stuff is hilariously bad and nobody in the crowd cares about it at all. Triple threat match wouldve been really good since it got time, but sadly the WWF is still trying to figure out how to work it. The show closes with a strong main event and Austin stunning Undertaker before he can even make a move. |

His match with Puke looks pretty messy though, and he honestly looks less in shape than he did in his last WCW match. And here's WWF introducing the Brawl 4 All tournament, one of the worst ideas anyone at WWF/WWE has ever had. WWF basically telling everyone "Hey, what you usually watch is hella fake, here's some real fighting". Except these mostly aren't real fighters, these are wrestler. The crowd hates it, I hate it, and the workers hated it. The triple threat match is a pretty big letdown too. You can hear everyone calling moves throughout the match, and it's all just a bit of a mess that ends after interference. This show is all about the storytelling, and we get exactly that with a pretty fun main event. It's a typical Stone Cold-style match, brawling and fighting, but Austin wins the title fair and square. |

Der wiederum bekommt von Kane sein Rückmatch für die heutige Show zugesichert. Frisch aus der WCW präsentiert sich der ehemalige 'Lord' Steven regal dem WWF Publikum und besiegt Droz - bald wird er seinen Namen in William abändern, denn McMahon will neben dem in der Warteschleife befindlichen Steve Williams und Steve Austin nicht noch einen Steven. Shamrock freut sich über den Turniersieg vom Vorabend, muss sich aber mit den Vorgängern von 1994 und 1997 messen - später am Abend. Dann beginnt ein ganz großes Fiasko der WWF Russo-Era - namentlich der 'Brawl 4 All'. Das erste Match dieses Bullshit-Turniers gewinnt Blackman nach Punkten, weil er Mero ein paar mal von den Beinen holt. Val Venis besiegt Dick Togo und hat danach noch etwas Beef mit den Japanern. Der aktuelle König setzt sich durch, danach gehen sich aber erneut Nation und DX an die Gurgel. JBL und HOG liefern sich einen allerfeinsten Bitchfight - fehlen nur Sofakissen und Lingerie. Brawl 4 All sucks! Erwähnte ich das schon? Die LOD will Ellering zurück, der hingegen begeht umgehend den Verrat und schliesst sich Skull & 8-Ball an. Und dann geschieht das Unfassbare - Austin holt sich umgehend den Titel von Kane zurück und stellt die Uhren auf Null. Kürzer war bisher nur die erste Regentschaft Yokozunas 1993. Die Show ist vor allen Dingen wegen Brawl 4 All ziemlich unsauber, am Ende zumindest aber schon legendär. |

Triple threat match is very good. Main event is a good match with great storyline. It also features Brawl 4 All tournament. This is a horrible idea but it was interesting for me to see what it was. |

Meiner ansicht nach wird er hier sogar etwas zu schwach dargestellt. Anders rum kann man natürlich sagen das Austin einfach wie Gott dargestellt wurde, was absolut nichts schlechtes ist. Im Endeffekt eine insgesamt unterhaltsame Show. |

Ordentliche Promo zwischen Shamrock, Owen und Triple H. Und dann beginnt der Brawl 4 All. Oje. Venis gewinnt und macht sich an die Frau Yamaguchi ran, da kommt noch was. Das Triple Threat der Kings war richtig ordentlich. Der Undertaker erklärt sich, das passt. Und nochmal Brawl 4 All, das ist schlecht. Der ehemalige Manager der LOD - Paul Ellering - managt jetzt die DOA, das gibt natürlich Zoff. Main Event ging so, der Titel wechselt wieder, das lässt den Titelwechsel am Abend zuvor noch fragwürdiger erscheinen. Durchschnittliche Show. |

Die Höhepunkte lagen hier auf den Promos: wie Austin Kane zu einem Rematch provoziert war köstlich, die King of Kings Promo war auch nett anzusehen und der Undertaker erklärt, dass er beim KOTR Austin attackiert hat, um Kane vor dem Selbst-in-Brand-setzen zu schützen. Abzüge gibt es für ein schwaches Titelmatch im Main Event und das absolut dämliche Brawl For All... |
