| 1 | 06.07.2018 | DanTalksRasslin | 4.0 | Not counting the rebroadcasted matches from the "Impact Wrestling vs. Lucha Underground" show, this cross-promotion with the California Big Time Wrestling is essentially a televised house show, with a few notable highlights - Sydal vs Edwards was a very good X-Division Title match; Katarina vs Taya was a good (to my knowledge) first-time meeting between the two; and the main event, though again coming off as a house show main event with more emphasis than normal placed on comedy with the repeated atomic drops, was entertaining. It was also kinda fun seeing Ellsworth on Impact, though his comedy match here largely rehashed the stuff he did with larger opponents like Strowman in WWE (albeit with Ellsworth coming out on the winning end this time), and some of the BTW talents made good impressions (Samara had a solid showing with Allie, for instance). Not an essential show, but some decent stuff here, and combined with the Impact vs Lucha Underground footage added to the broadcast version (which I'm not including in this rating), it's worth seeing if you've not yet watched that event. |
