[8.0] "The undercard is nothing amazing, but Harada / Tadasuke vs. Hi69 / Minoru is fun. Two great title matches to finish the show though."

[8.0] "Good show here with the last two matches being very good. The tag title match was great and Go's selling of his leg is some of the best leg selling I have ever seen. The ending was a bit deflating with the crowd barely popping but still a very good match. ****1/4 The main event was a short than usual GHC title match but holy shit was it brutal. The strike exchanges were great and those headbutts were fucking horrible to watch, but it was a fantastic main event. ****1/2"

[5.0] "This was another mostly disappointing NOAH show. Even the more enjoyable of these undercard matches were heavily clipped. Hayata & Yo-hey vs Ohara & Ogawa was fine. **1/4. Yone, Storm, & Marufuji vs Saito, Kumano, & Inoue had Inoue's charm but nothing else. **. Kenso vs Nagai was just terrible. Absolutely avoid. *. Cody vs Kenou was sort of dull. Cody's monster work is fun, but Kenou looked a bit off, as if he didn't want to go 100% against Cody in case he hurt him. **1/4. Hi69 & Minoru vs Harada and Tadasuke had some fine basic high flying exchanges but nothing else. A jr. tag title match has now been set up between these two teams, who hopefully that delivers more so than this did. **1/2. FINALLY we get to the good stuff with Shiozaki & Kiyomiya vs Nakajima & Kitamiya, which was easily the MOTN. Shiozaki was a total badass here, performing some tremendous selling of his leg injury while still managing to hobble around and destroy fools with his ridiculously stiff strikes. He made the match incredibly compelling with this performance. Kiyomiya was great all around, whether he was flying around delivering his flashy offence (much like his idol Misawa) or taking some incredible bumps. Nakajima and Kitamiya were very good heels too; aggressive and arrogant. Kiyomiya got some great near falls before shockingly getting a quick roll-up pin for the win, which I went crazy for. ***3/4. Sugiura vs Kotoge was a very bland strong style match for the first half but massively picked up once Kotoge began teasing the headbutt and we got all the convincing near falls. The big strike exchanges came in too late, but they were still very good once we got them. Kotoge finally managed to hit the headbutt and disgustingly busted Sugiura and himself open. Blood was everywhere. And Kotoge even hit two further sickening headbutts. Great to see Sugiura win, and interesting to see whether Marufuji wins in his challenge next. ***1/4-***1/2"
