[9.0] "Richtig gute Show. Beide Rumble Matches waren sehr ordentlich und hatten jeweils den richtigen Sieger, bzw. die richtige Siegerin. Des weiteren waren beide Women Title Matches stark und heben den PPV nochmals nach oben. Zudem war Brock vs. Balor gut und Bryan vs. AJ ordentlich. Einer der besten Rumble PPVs der letzten Jahre!"
[5.0] "Also der Royal Rumble im Jahre 2019 war schon was besonderes. Sehr sehr Gute Stimmung und eine Arena die perfekt gepasst hat. Leider war die Entrance Stage mal wieder nicht das Wahre und auch 4 Jahre später bekommt man bei den Rumble Events keine Gebührende große Entrance Stage die diesem Event eigentlich gerecht wäre. Asuka vs. Becky Lynch im Opener um den WWE Smackdown Women's Championship, war ein einfach gutes Match. Nix besonderes geschehen aber man wurde gut von beiden Frauen unterhalten (***1/2). Shane McMahon & The Miz vs. The Bar (Cesaro Sheamus fand ich dann auch wirklich sehr Unterhaltend. Das McMahon und Miz sich damals die Titel sichern konnten, hätte ich nicht gedacht (***1/4). Ronda Rousey vs. Sasha Banks war Inordnung. Finde die beiden passen einfach nicht gut miteinander im Ring und es hat mich leider einfach hier absolut nicht umgehauen. Sasha Banks & Ronda Rousey gefallen mir schon seit Jahren leider überhaupt nicht mehr im Ring, auch wenn die Fehden, Ihr Mic-Work und alles andere schon vorhanden ist. Das Women's Royal Rumble Match fand ich etwas zu lange aber gut. Die Startnummern hätte ich etwas anders gebooked. Carmella als Nummer 30 ist eigentlich totale Verschwendung und auch die Crowd hat eher weniger amüsant darauf reagiert. Das am Ende dann noch Becky Lynch den Platz von der verletzten Lana ein nimmt war aber gut gemacht und wusste zu gefallen, aber irgendwie konnte man dann schon damit rechnen das Lynch den Rumble gewinnen wird (***1/2). Dann kam ein Match worauf ich mich damals schon sehr gefreut hatte. Das Match an sich war gut, nur ich glaube die Länge hat das match einfach irgendwann zu überzogen. Man merkt Bryan und Styles den vollen WWE Kalender definitiv an (***1/2). Finn Balor vs. Brock Lesnar um den WWE Universal Championship war das erwartete kurze Championship Match. Man hat es wirklich gut und realistisch gebooked, immer weider kam die Hoffnung auf, dass Balor Lesnar besiegen könnte. Am Ende beweist Brock Lesnar nur mal wieder das ein Beast wie er, einen Finn Balor in Sekunden vernichten kann (****). Das Royal Rumble Match der Männer fand ich dann okey. Gemischte Gefühle Spiegeln sich hier wieder. Man hatte einen Guten Anfang mit Elias & Jeff Jarrett, beendet die Reihenfolge aber dann mit R-Truth der kurzerhand später von Nia Jax? ! Angegriffen wird, und sie somit seinen Spot im Rumble Match einnimmt? Natürlich bleibt sowas in den Köpfen, aber definitiv nicht als gutes Ereignis. Richtig richtig schlecht gebooked (***). Insgesamt finde ich sind hier 5 Punkte gerechtfertigt. Es war jetzt kein Brutal starker Royal Rumble Event, aber auch keiner den man unbedingt gesehen haben muss."
[9.0] "Wonderful show. Ronda vs Sasha is a 5 Star Rating match for me, definitely the best match these two ever had, in my opinion. Lesnar vs Balor was also amazing, a fine story tell about the "big powerhouse vs speed lightweight" esque type match, one that is a better "Lesnar vs Bryan" match than Lesnar vs Bryan was two months earlier. Asuka vs Becky was another fun match to start things up. The kickoff matches were fine, the tag match with the victory of Miz and Shane was fine. Bryan vs Styles wasn't as good as their former match at TLC or the one on SD, but it isn't a terrible match at all. I would have put this show a 10 rating, if not for the booking of the two royal rumbles. The two battle royal matches were really bad and unfunny to get through, but I'll them a pass since their endings had the right person (Becky and Seth) getting pushed on the way to Wrestlemania, and since they have at least one or two spots and moments that are making worth the watching."
[4.0] "An absolutely niche product, which, in comparison with other modern wrestling events, is just a dummy wrapped in a very beautiful, prominent package. Very weak matches, the very pace of the show is simply terribly tightened, the storylines are dumb, a lot of downright idiocy. It's still a mystery to me how having such a roster, simply the best in the history of wrestling, to release such a mediocre product ... Guys, imagine these matches from the show, not in a huge arena that accommodated 48 thousand spectators, with millions of costs for visuals, with promoted names, "brand monopoly", but somewhere in the basement of some municipal building in Ohio with 50 viewers. Do you think this will greatly change your impression of them? A good match in the backyard of the house will be a good one, and hack in thousandth arenas will be hack. Think ... I will not describe the very concept of the RR now. Simply, in my opinion, it is extremely outdated and needs to be reformed, but about that some other time."
[8.0] "Die Royal Rumble von diesem Jahr war gar nicht mall so schlecht. Asuka vs Lynch war ein ziemlich gutes Match und für viele auch das Match of the night(***1/2), jedoch finde ich es etwas fragwürdig warum Becky Lynch hier aufgibt. Das zweite Match Abend war ok, es war halt nicht wirklich viel besonderes dabei. Denn Titelwechsel fande ich auch im allgemeinen eher komisch. Von Banks vs Rousey hatte ich wirklich nicht so viel erwartet, doch letztendlich war es ein sehr gutes Match, was ich anfangs nicht gedacht hätte. Man merkt das Sasha das Maximum aus Rousey geholt hat. Der Frauen Royal Rumble war auch gut und mit einem Sieger denn jeder Fan hier wollte. Aber warum musste dann Lynch das erste Match verlieren? Vorhin hatten wir eine Überraschung jetzt eine Enttäuschung. Den von Daniel Bryan vs AJ Styles war ich sehr enttäuscht. Was das beste Match sein könnte, war wahrscheinlich das schlechteste Match am Abend, so hart es auch klingt. Das Ende fande ich jetzt auch nicht wirklich gut gemacht. Balor vs Lesnar war an sich ein gutes Match doch der Sieger hat mich genervt. Denn fast jeder will Balor als Champion sehen, aber dann behält Brock Lesnar denn Titel. Ich mein Lesnar kommt fast nie zu Raw und verteidigt seinen Titel nicht im Ansatz . Auch das Royal Rumble Match der Männer war gut mit einem Sieger, denn wahrscheinlich viel fans wollten und auf dem man auch Aufbauen kann. Alles in einem eine gute Royal Rumble 2019."
[6.0] "Zunächst ist bei diesem Rumble aufjedenfall positiv zu sehen, das es keinen Totalausfall gibt, lediglich das Tag Team Title Match lässt mich kalt, zudem der Titelwechsel unnötig ist. Dann hat man da die zwei Damen Matches um die Titel - beide finden sich ungefähr auf dem selben Niveau, das ist ganz unterhaltend mit letztendlich 2 Titelverteidigungen. Das Rumble Match der Frauen überrascht mich positiv, ja wirklich, das ist teilweise echt okay was im Ring geboten wird. Bryan und Styles sind an einem ungünstigen Zeitpunkt auf der Card - die Crowd ist tot und auch das Match kommt nie wirklich in Fahrt und hat auch ein dämliches Finish parat. Lesnar gegen Balor ist kurzweilig, aber nett. Bleibt noch das Rumble Match der Herren - auch das geht in Ordnung, kein Spektakel, wenige Überraschungen, aber alles eigentlich grundsolide. Insgesamt ist der Rumble mit 5 Stunden deutlich zu lang, was man der Crowd gewaltig anmerkte, die lediglich bei den beiden Rumble Matches so Richtig in Stimmung war. Der Rumble hat kein überragendes Match parat, aber auch überhaupt kein Stinker - ist in Summe ordentlich."

[8.0] "Asuka und Becky Lynch zeigen im Opener direkt ein gutes Match, sicher haben die Beiden an anderer Stelle schon gezeigt, dass noch mehr aus dieser Paarung herauszuholen ist. Das Tag Team Match ist immerhin grundsolide und spinnt die Story zwischen Miz und Shane wunderbar weiter. Sasha Banks und Ronda Rousey zeigen das beste nicht-Rumble Match der Show, bei dem bis zum Schluss jedes Ende denkbar scheint. Beide Rumble-matches sehe ich auf ähnlichem Niveau, bei den Frauen war mir der Ausgang einen Tick zu vorhersehbar. Daniel Bryan und AJ Styles zeigen kein schlechtes Match, das jedoch meilenweit hinter den Erwartungen zurück bleibt, das Publikum ist nach dem 1. Rumblematch ausgelaugt, jedoch kamen auch beide Wrestler nicht an ihr bei TLC erreichtes Niveau heran. Fin Balor vs Brock Lesnar ist dafür umso besser, womit nicht unbedingt zu rechnen war, wie schon beim Raw Womens Title Match liegt hier eine Sensation in der Luft. Beim Men`s Royal Rumble Match gab es zu wenige als Sieger in Betracht kommende Wrestler und leider hat das Match auch ein paar Längen. Insgesamt ist die Show aber wirklich gut! Denn das Meckern bei beiden Rumbles ist auf sehr hohem Niveau, man hat durchgehend solide bis (sehr) gute Matches, ausgerechnet AJ Styles und Daniel Bryan bleiben hinter den Erwartungen zurück. Klare Empfehlung für die ganze Show, am besten nicht an einem Stück."
[7.0] "Opener zwischen Becky Lynch und Asuka ein ganz gutes Match um den Rumble einzustimmen, wobei ich sagen muss das die Zuschauer im Chase Field einfach mal absolut 0 Stimmung gemacht haben. Deshalb wirkte der Rumble auch oftmals für einige hier schlecht. Asuka vs. Lynch (***1/2). WWE SD! Live Tag Team Title Match war total vorhersehbar und unglaublich schlecht gebooked. The Miz und Shane McMahon besiegen gleich mal ein eigentliches Dominantes Tag Team, einfach so in ihrem ersten gemeinsamen Tag Match. Ronda Rousey vs. Sasha Banks ganz Solide, wobei Ich auch sagen muss das sich Rousey aus meiner Sicht extrem verbessert hat (***). Women's Royal Rumble Match war dann Gut mit vielen schönen Überraschungen und ganz guten Aktionen und Eliminierungen die auch Sinn gemacht haben (***1/4). WWE Title Match und WWE Universal Title Match dann beide auch keine wirkliche Überraschung. WWE Title Match extrem schlecht. WWE Universal Title Match dann sehr gut aber wie gesagt, zu vorhersehbar und schade das Balor seinen Titel nicht zurück gewinnen konnte (****). Men's Royal Rumble Match dann genau so gut wie das Women's Match seiner Art. Mit vielen schönen Überraschungen und ganz guten Aktionen und Eliminierungen die auch wieder Sinn gemacht haben (***1/4). Fazit: Ein guter Royal Rumble, der sich aber durch die vorhersehbaren Entscheidungen etwas geschwächt hat. Aber von den Match Qualitäten her ganz gut gewesen ist."
[8.0] "Der Rumble bleibt ein wunderbarer Auftakt ins PPV-Jahr der WWE und auch der Startschuss für die Road to Wrestlemania. Kaum ein Event hat einen charakteristischeren Charme. Dass 2019 das Ganze in einem Stadion abgehalten wird, hilft der Aura, aber nicht der Atmosphäre. Stadiontypisch ist diese oft überschaubar. So auch hier. Asuka entdeckt im Opener mal wieder den Killer in sich und bietet eine ihrer überzeugendsten Leistungen im Main Roster. Mit Becky wird das nicht immer 100%ig rund, aber doch dramatisch und unterhaltsam. (***¾) Save Cesaro! Das bestesteste Tag Team der Welt holt mit einer leidenschaftlichen Leistung ohne gutes Wrestling die Titel. Nicht mein Ding. (**¼) Sasha auf der großen Bühne und natürlich überzeugt sie wieder. Ronda macht es ihr auch nicht sonderlich schwer. Das Match funktioniert und auch wenn ein Titelwechsel nicht realistisch ist, erzeugen die Damen hier ein gutes Match. (****) Der Rumble der Damen ist in Teilen wirklich holprig. Das fängt bei Lacey an und geht über so manche Phase in der Mitte. Das Becky-Angle ist stark, aber die Dramatik dann leider doch überspitzt, wenn auch noch unterhaltsam und Nia passt da gut hinein. Rheas Auftritt hat mich sehr gefreut, drei Eliminierungen sind stark. Ordentliches Match in Summe. (***½) Wäre gerne dabei gewesen als Bryan/AJ skizziert wurde. Gutes Wrestling mit einem verwirrenden Pacing für ein banales Finish. (***) Die Entwicklung davon gefällt mir aber dennoch sehr. Brock hat mal wieder Bock und liefert mit Finn eine starke Match Story ab. Gutes Match für die Zeit. (****¼) Eine Legende, etwas NXT und ein flüssiges Rumble-Match der Herren zum Abschluss. (***¾) Auch hier tritt das wahrscheinlichste Ergebnis ein, aber das schmälert den Eindruck nicht. Insgesamt eine gute Show, die mit passender Stimmung sich noch runder hätte anfühlen können, aber mich auch so wirklich unterhalten hat."
[7.0] "2019. 01. 27 - It's amazing how fast the Rumbles go by when you're there. I missed a lot of the storytelling too. I'm not sure a baseball stadium is right for wrestling, but I still had a hell of a time. I lost my voice (unfruitfully) screaming for Finn."
[6.0] "Das Veranstaltung ist grundsätzlich auf einem konstant guten Niveau, in ihrer Gänze aber einfach zu lang, weshalb es dann auch zu Durchhängern kommt. Allein die beiden Rumble Matches nehmen über zwei Stunden ein. Die Damen Titelmatches sind hier beide stark, wogegen die Singlematches der Herren nicht in allen Belangen überzeugen können (s. Guide). Dazu kommt das Smackdown Tag Titel Match mit dem erwarteten Ausgang, der nicht allen so recht schmeckt. Den Rumble Matches selbst fehlen dann so ein bisschen (vor allem dem Männer Rumble) die großen (Überraschungs-)Momente, dafür gibt es die richtigen Sieger. Wer die Matchart mag wird hier dennoch solide unterhalten werden, insgesamt ist der Event sowohl für Fernsehzuschauer wie auch Fans in der Halle zu lang."
[8.0] "Ein ungewöhnliches Damenmatch mit vielen Brawl- und Strongstyle-Elementen bildet den Opener, ein phänomenales Finish mit all seinen Aufgabegriffen und Kontern reißt hier aber alles raus (9/10). Das anschließende Tag-Team-Match bleibt dem großspurigen Aufbau im Vorfeld nichts schuldig: Daueraction, streckenweise chaotischer Matchverlauf und die Shooting Star Press von Shane McMahon toppt natürlich alles (10/10). Rousey und Banks zeigen schönes Mattenwrestling, Stiffness, Submission Holds; beide schenken sich nichts in einem Match, in dem es ebenfalls Schlag auf Schlag geht, für mich sogar motn (11/10). Der Damen-Rumble kommt in der ersten Hälfte ganz ohne nennenswerte Höhepunkte aus, die wenigen Spots werden außerdem größtenteils verpatzt, in der zweiten Hälfte wird es jedoch ganz interessant und auch hochklassiger, einige schöne Spots werden gesetzt und das Finish ist dramatisch, obwohl nach dem Auftauchen Becky Lynchs völlig klar ist, wer das Ganze gewinnt (14/20). Bryan und Styles liefern Wrestlingkunst in allen Facetten: Scientific Wrestling, Chain Wrestling, Stiffness, High-Risk-Manöver, da wird der Gesamteindruck auch nicht durch den Eingriff von Erick Rowan geschmälert (10/10). Lesnar kann man nach wie vor besser gegen Techniker booken als gegen Big Men. Bálor verhilft hier zu einem wirklich starken Fight (9/10). Der Rumble der Herren startet gleich mit einem Bonbon, schön, dass man die Story um Elias und Jarrett dann bei Raw noch ein wenig fortgesetzt hat, da kommt Nostalgie auf. Vor allem in der 2. Hälfte des Rumbles plätschert das Geschehen dann doch sehr dahin: einer nach dem anderen kommt rein, ein paar fliegen raus. Richtig interessant wird es erst ab dem Auftritt von Lashley, jetzt folgt Spot auf Spot und die dramaturgische Zuspitzung ist gut umgesetzt. Die Final Four sind auch mal anders gestaltet und der Sieg von Rollins überrascht dann doch, da wohl die meisten von einem weiteren Rumble-Sieg Strowmans ausgegangen wären (12/20). Gesamt: 8, 33."
[7.0] "To get it out of the way first - five hours - or more, when you include the pre-show - is way, way too long for any wrestling event. That said, I was pretty pleasantly surprised with the Rumbles themselves, even if there weren't really any huge surprises like many wanted. I liked that the men's Rumble was packed with lots of newer faces, and it produced some good exchanges. I wasn't a huge fan of the Nia Jax spot, but it was a fine Rumble overall. The women's Rumble was a huge improvement over last year, with the roster not looking nearly as thin, and Becky's victory was a great moment (I actually would've switched the order of the two Rumbles, as Becky's win got a bigger reaction than Rollins' and would have been a better note to end on). The rest of the card was a bit hit-or-miss - Asuka vs Becky and Lesnar vs Balor were great matches, the latter being Lesnar's best in ages; on the other hand, Styles and Bryan don't seem to have nearly the degree of chemistry you'd expect from two wrestlers of their calibur; Rousey vs Banks had some sloppy moments early but turned out OK; Bar vs Miz/Shane was a fine tag match when Shane wasn't in the ring, though I'm not a fan of the result. Overall a show with positives and negatives, but ultimately the good outweighing the bad."
[7.0] "1. Der Opener war eines der besseren Matches an diesen Abend. Auch wenn man über das Finish ordentlich diskutieren kann. (3 1/2*) 2. Das TT Title Match hatte Weekly Niveau. Hätte man nicht unbedingt auf der Main Card gebraucht. Aber so konnte man Miz & Co. zeigen, da diese im RR Match keine Rolle spielten. (2*) 3. Das RAW Women's Championship Match war mein MotN. (4 1/4*) 4. Der Damen RR war dann besser als im Vorjahr. Zum Glück gab es keine Nostalgie Auftritte ala Miss Jackie & Co. Die "Jungen Wilden" durften dafür aufzeigen. Und der Sieger ist mehr als richtig gewählt, auch wenn ich glaube man wird noch irgendwie, unnötigerweise, Charlotte in das WM Match booken. (3 1/4*) 5. Styles/Bryan eine Enttäuschung. (2*) 6. Lesnar/Balor war für die kurze Zeit in Ordnung. (3*) 7. ME war dann mehr als in Ordnung, auch wenn das Match im Vorjahr besser war. (3 1/4*)"
[6.0] "Ich bin mir etwas unschlüssig, aber ich glaube, über fünf Stunden Royal Rumble sind zu viel. Und das merkt man an vielen Stellen auch dem Publikum im imposanten Chase Field an, allen voran beim Match zwischen Styles und Bryan. Ansonsten kann man der Veranstaltung eigentlich nicht viel vorwerfen, denn sie kommt mit Lynch und Asuka gut aus den Startlöchern, taucht dann im Tag-Match etwas ab und ist dann spätestens bei Rousey und Banks wieder im grünen Bereich. Der äusserst solide Damen-Rumble wird dann von den Fans ordentlich mitgenommen, was man vom folgenden Titelmatch leider nicht sagen kann, denn da kommt kaum Stimmung auf, obwohl die Partie lange Zeit ganz unterhaltsam ist. Balor und Lesnar machen das, was geht, auch wenn es recht kurz ist. Vom Herren-Rumble bin ich latent enttäuscht, denn weder Besetzung, noch Storytelling sind überbordend bemerkenswert. Da es hier keinen Stinker gibt, ist die Show am Ende aber ziemlich in Ordnung, wenn auch, wie gesagt, deutlich zu lang."
[4.0] "Extremely medicore show from top to bottom. Would have been perfectly fine if it was any show besides the Royal Rumble but this is meant to be the second most entertaining WWE show of the year and it fell short of being entertaining most of the time. The women's rumble was especially horrifically worked and drawn out, bearing 0 merit until the final 5 minutes. Bryan/AJ was the longest 25 minute match in history and dragged through the mud with a dead crowd, the final twist was unintentionally hillarious. Balor/Lesnar was the best of the show but I'm tiring of these Brock matches where he sells for 5 minutes and then no sells and just wins with a finisher. The men's rumble was much better than the women's but there was still a lot of dead air in between the exciting parts. Asuka/Lynch ***1/4 Miz&Shane/Bar ** Rousey/Banks ***1/2 Styles/Bryan ** Women's Rumble * Balor/Lesnar ***3/4 Men's Rumble ***"
[7.0] "Macht dann doch jedes Jahr wieder Spaß. Lynch vs. Charlotte im Opener fand ich echt gut. Tag Team Title Match ist halt Mittel zum Zweck, da es früher oder später das Match Shane vs. Miz geben wird. Irgendie schade, dass die Champions dafür jobben müssen, daher hatte ich nicht so Lust auf das Match. Rousey vs. Banks war auch ganz nett, da es anders ist als die bisherigen Matches von Ronda und bis auf ein paar Aussetzer beim Timing gut funktioniert. Womens Battle Royal hat mir gefallen und ich habe mir wirklich Lynch als Teilnehmerin und Siegerin gewünscht, daher war ich happy, dass man das auch gemacht hat. Gut auch, dass der Fokus dieses Jahr auf den aktuellen Wrestlerinnern lag. Bryan vs. AJ ist eigentlich gut, durch die tote Crwod fehlt aber leider komplett die Heat. Balor vs. Lesnar war in Ordnung. Der Main Event hat mir ebenfalls gut gefallen und es war interessant zu sehen, welche Wrestler einen guten Spot bekamen und welche Wrestler gar nichts zu melden hatten (Ambrose, Angle, Orton). Leider wurde auch deutlich, dass WWE zu wenig Main Eventer hat, den man tatsächlich den Sieg zugetraut hätte."

Think last years was better. Alot of NXT women. No Legends, which is no bueno. It was very WWE. AJ/Bryan: ***7/8. This was a great wrestling match that had a finish that ruined it. I would have had this over 4 if this would have just ended cleanly. Before that, i was thinking that this was really really good wrestling, especially for WWE. I think minus the finish that this was better than the TLC match. I really hope they get to have another Singles PPV match. Balor/Lesnar: ***1/2. This was short, but really good and logical. Balor looked great. Mens RR: Good. Not great, but far from bad. i enjoyed it. To me the Royal Rumble is "Sports Entertainment" at its best. It was enjoyable. Very good show. 7/10."
[5.0] "A decent night of action. Nothing overwhelmingly brilliant with two bright spots. The opener was solid, well worked. The only other contender for match of the night was Banks v Rousey. They told a compelling story, both sold well and the finish was unexpected (in a good way). Rumble matches are tough propositions at the best of times (for those involved and the viewer) but two in one night, both pretty average, meant this show was a slog despite the right people winning both."

First of All I can not understand why Becky tapped out against Asuka. Why building a whole division around "The Man" if she loses clean and net against asuka, mostly for what happened later in the show and what happened at Raw for most. Shane and Mi victory was ok and was one of the most "logical " things happened on the show , great shooting star press from Shane o Mac. Ronda vs sasha has been good semi shoot mma style match , I did'nt understood the finish ith pin and not via tap out probably because already two matches was going to end via tap out in the show and a third one was too much. Women's royal rumble probably has been the best match of the night cause of the "shoking" (but predictable)Becky entrance in the match and victory. probably Nia jax aggression was done to make everything less predictable and make us think that Charlotte could win over becky. Aj styes vs Bryan was fantastic match, from a "workrate" point of view but with really bad booking in the end. They never make a "high spot match" as for example Gargano vs richochet nght before at Takeover but they always make a trench technical warfare with great psicology and storytelling. Besides this and besides the fact that I am really really hungry WWE wasted the best match series possible in the company in this poor storyline, the over booked final was really bad and ruined the match . Why eric rowan with no hype no construction interrupted the match ? Balor vs Lesnar was the real delusion and illogical thing of the night. why put out from the match Strowman , making Balor a 1# contender just to make him tap ot after 10 minutes match? The Men's RR was not the best rumble match ever of course but it was logical, predictable but logical."

To me, Sasha was better (I loved her moveset) & now I realized why many people say Sasha is being buried. Will rate the whole show after watching other matches."

Matchtechnisch eine gute Show. Asuka vs Becky war super wenn auch das Finish etwas zu Clean war. BAR vs Shane and Miz war tatsächlich besser wie gedacht. Sasha vs Ronda hatte geilere Spots wie der Opener, aber war etwas holpriger und hatte mehr stockende Momente. Womens Rumble war die erste hälfte absolut schlecht und die zweite hälfte war in Ordnung. Wie Becky ins Match kam war dumm, aber die Final 3 waren extrem gut. Bryan vs AJ war Technisch sehr sehr gut. Dennoch muss man hier einiges vom Rating abziehen wenn man die tote Crowd und das BS Finish beachtet. Lesnar vs Balor war MOTN und wie die ganzen Lesnar vs Little Guy Matches der Vergangenheit (Bryan, AJ) einfach Awesome. Mens Rumble hatte eine gute Besetzung und schöne Suprises, aber insgesamt wurde hier (bis auf den Sieger) absolut kein Star kreiert oder gepusht. Es wurden random Leute eliminiert und niemand sah besonders stark aus. Nia am Ende welche dann einen Ali (welcher vergleichsweise gut aussah) einfach so rauswirft unterstreicht das ganze Perfekt. Insgesamt Matchtechnisch gut, Bookingtechnisch teilweise fragwürdig. Also ein Klassischer WWE PPV."
[5.0] "2 langweilige Rumble Matches, die insgesamt einen starken Moment hatten (Becky) ist zu wenig. Dazu ein sehr enttäschendes Match von Styles/Bryan und das TT Title Match, welches okay war. Stark hingegeben waren die beiden Damen Matches und mein MOTN war Balor/Brock. Leider reichen die 3 letztgenannten Match nicht, den Durchschnitt zu heben."
[1.0] "Asuka vs Becky was good until the finish. Didn't care about shane & miz winning, sasha banks deserve to go over after having short title runs as champion. Alexa Bliss needed this win more than Becky, its pathetic to give in to someone when Becky should have just gone over asuka for the title. Not surprised AJ would get screwed over by Daniel. Finn balor made brock look like a true bitch until he had a huge feat of strength to retain. Braun strowman should have the rumble not seth. This was just the worst booked royal rumble ppv in years. No interference at all in any of the matches except for daniel/aj. I'm done with WWE after this lack of booking. Not more big time arena ppv's. Wrestlemania 35 needs to be the last outdoor arena ppv. go back to the old days where people in the crowd actually cared. I have been to two wrestlemania's in the regular size venues and I was happy with the outcomes. These big venues ruin the ppv's."
[7.0] "too long of a show but a lot of good matches. i thought the tag was fun. Mens Rumble was okay, the ending was a lot of fun. Women's rumble i didnt like but i like the booking of Lynch coming in like the man she is. Balor/Lesnar was really good other than the fact that Balor had no reason not to be dressed in his demon gear. Asuka/Lynch was my 2nd favourite of the night."
[8.0] "Not gonna lie, it was long as hell, but pne of the best Royal Rumble PPV I've seen, more a 7. 5 than an 8, I feel generous and wanna give it an 8, the women's title matches were world class, the men's title matches were good too (I'd have had them in the opposite position so the crowd wasn't dead after a Rumble for AJ vs Bryan), good tag team match, the Rumble matches were very solid. No great surprises but at least nothing unwanted or stupid, they didn't have silly outcomes in the attempt to swerve us and they didn't mess with us, they promoted this "the crowd gets what they want" stuff and things are kind of getting in the direction the majority of the crowd seems to prefer."
[9.0] "Sehr guter PPV. Der Opener war in Ordnung. Sehr überraschend für mich das Asuka Becky Lynch zum Abklopfen zwingt. Einen Titelwechsel hatte ich sowieso nicht erwartet. Sheamus und Cesaro vs Miz und Shane McMahon war solide. Für mich das schwächste Match weil niemand sehen will wie Shane einen Titel trägt. Die Shooting Star Press war aber geil. Die Women #2 waren gut. Starkes Match besonders weil Sasha viel dominieren durfte und es oft hin und her ging. Mal sehen wie es weiter geht mit den zwei nach der Four Horsewomen Geste. Das Womens Royal Rumble Match war in Ordnung. MVP war klar Charlotte. Neben ihr durften Ember Moon und auch Lacey Evans glänzen. Für einen hammergeilen Spot sorgte Kacy Catanzaro. Becky durfte Lana ersetzen und den Sieg holen wovon viele damit gerechnet haben. Bryan vs AJ Styles war in Ordnung. Nur ordentliche Kost weil die Zuschauer ziemlich tot waren und sich das Match wie Kaugummi zog. Das Rowan eingriff macht die Sache alles andere als besser. Balor vs Lesnar war in Ordnung. Das Ergebnis war klar aber immerhin gab es keine Abschlachtung während des Match wie bei Survivor Series. Balor durfte sehr gut mithalten. Das Royal Rumble Match war gut. Die Legenden Angle und Jarrett wurden verschwendet und direkt am Anfang pulverisiert. Einige Spots wurden durch No Way Jose oder Hawkins verschwendet. Dafür gab es dann junge NXT Leute wie Gargano oder Black oder sogar auch Dunne trugen dem Match positiv bei. Der Nia Jax Spot war so unnötig und echt zum kotzen. Mit Rollins hat man einen vernünftigen Sieger gewählt. Ich hätte mir McIntyre gewünscht aber da er leider Heel ist hätte das nicht funktioniert. Ich war echt sehr zufrieden mit dem PPV nur fünf Stunden sind echt viel zu lang."

I think the Nia Jax entrant in the men's rumble was fucking stupid as they have a women's rumble now. What is the point of a female being in the men's rumble anymore? It's been done 3 times before, however unlike then the women did not have a rumble to compete in, they do now so whats the point?"

[5.0] "Becky/Asuka was pretty disappointing, even though I did not have that high hopes for it; just very dull back & forth - never grabbed me at any point (**), the SD tag match was a match (*), Ronda/Sasha was great in parts, but also awkward & rushed at parts - good match overall (***1/4), the women's Rumble was the better of the two - not many standout moments in it, but it had flowed well from start to finish & didn't drag badly - nowhere near as good as last year's women's Rumble though (**1/2), Bryan/Styles was, unsurprisingly, the best match of the night - the crowd hurt it quite a bit, but they still wrestled a very nice & tight match w/ strong psychology throughout (****), Lesnar/Bálor was very, very good & would've been great if Bálor would be more interesting on the offense, but even with him not being interesting, the match was still really damn good - Brock is such a legend with his all-time great selling (***3/4), the men's Rumble was an absolute bore from start to finish, just nothing interesting about it at any point (*). Overall a solid show, but it certainly looked better on paper than it ended up being."

The women's rumble match was a vast improvement on last years attempt, but still not anything particularly special. The rest of the show was largely forgettable and whilst nothing else was bad it wasn't good either. At close to 5 hours long, the shows length was the main negative, as you could tell that the live crowd wasn't as invested towards the close of the night, as they were at the start; something that really hurt Styles vs Bryan. Overall a decent show that would have been a lot better if it were an hour or so shorter."
[9.0] "Great event. Asuka/Lynch was an awesome way to start the show. Incredible match with tremendous pacing. Every spot built to so well and a thrilling end. Wow ****1/2. Bar/Miz+Shane was better than expected. Very enjoyable match and a crazy end with Shane doing that SSP again ***3/4. Ronda/Sasha was great. Both women brought the intensity and action ****. Women's Rumble was good. Pretty uneventful all around but a great final 2. Kacy's save was pretty cool. Glad Becky won ***1/4. Bryan/Styles was a great match with a bad finish. Likely starting a faction for Bryan which is fine, just an underwhelming end. The match had amazing selling but was a bit slow paced, and after the rumble it's no surprise the crowd was a bit quiet. Still great match ****. Balor/Lesnar was awesome. Lesnar is insanely good at selling, made Balor look amazing. Great action. The ending was a bit too quick and underwhelming, should've held on a bit longer. But still a great match ****. Mens Rumble was pretty fun, but like the women's, rather uneventful. Surprises weren't that great and having Ziggler make it so far was pretty weak. But at least Rollins won ***1/2. Overall a great show"

Rousey vs. Banks was really good, not Ronda's best match but still a solid match (***3/4). The women's Rumble was really good, and it was an interesting decision to not have any legends/former superstars show up as surprise entrants, but instead to fill all those spots with NXT women (***3/4). Bryan vs. Styles did not live up to its expectations. I never got into the match, and it was simply decent (***). Lesnar vs. Balor was a bit better, but not as good or as long as I thought it would have been (***1/4). I thought the men's Rumble was right on par with the women's, although it was completely predictable that Rollins would win (***3/4)."
[8.0] "Ein sehr guter Main Roster PPV und ein Rumble, den ich mir besser kaum hätte vorstellen können, wir sollten eigentlich zufrieden sein. Allein die Rahmenbedingungen waren sehr gut z. B. kein Reigns, der ein Free WM ME hat und da hat man sehr viel draus gemacht. BTW. die Arena sah sehr geil aus und fühlte sich oldschool an. Der Opener war perfekt gewählt und war stark. Sicherlich hätte ich mir das Dreammatch noch besser vorgestellt aber es war gut und das Ende machte Sinn. Das Tag Match war lame und die Sieger sind schlecht. Schade, aber ich hatte wenig erwartet. Das Raw Women's Title Match ist overrated. Es war sicherlich Ronda's bestes Match, aber das ist auch nicht schwer. Banks, die ewig lange verjobbt wurde ist mehr over als Ronda, zurecht und das finish war schlecht und random. Der Frauen Rumble war der bessere der beiden. Wenig Leerlauf, keine Altstars, geile Debuts (Rhipley! ) und einfach am Ende perfekt gebookt. Jeder wollte Becky sehen und nach der kurzen Enttäuschung mit Nr. 30 haben wir sie doch bekommen. Einfach ein perfekter Moment am Ende, den sich jeder gewünscht hat. Das WWE Title match ist underrated. Es leidete sehr unter seiner Platzierung, denn technisch war es sehr gut, nicht so gut wie bei TLC, aber dennoch. Mit Rowans Eingriff kann ich gut leben, denn dadurch bekam das Matchup doch noch etwas neues und man ist gespannt, wie es aufgelöst wird + Styles wurde weniger geschadet. Lesnar vs Balor war gut, aber zu kurz. Die Story war genial und ein Funken Hoffnung für Balor war da. Am Ende gewinnt Lesnar, aber es scheint noch nicht vorbei zu sein, wenn man an das Aftermath denkt. Der Rumble war okay, ihm fehlten aber die richtig geilen Überraschungen. Der Anfang war geil mit Jarrett und nach einer längeren Leerphase wurde es immer besser und ich mochte auch Nia. Am Ende war es etwas vorhersehbar, dass Rollins gewinnt und es fehlte das geniale Booking, mit dem Becky ins Match kam, doch beide Gewinner sind perfekt, nach jahrelangen Enttäuschungen."

Amazing women's title matches, decent fight between Cesaro & Sheamus versus The Miz & O'Mac, great story around Balor. And excellent RR-matches, both women's and men's, with right winner's. One of the finest pay-per-view by WWE in recent years."
[7.0] "Asuka gegen Becky Lynch hat sicher nicht die große Story, ist aber trotzdem ein guter Opener und für mich auch eines der beiden Matches of the Night, da beide sehr intensiv zu Werke gehen und zudem auch eine spannende Schlussphase zeigen, in der beide gewinnen können. Was mir hier auch gefallen hat waren die jeweiligen Submissions in den Zeilen. Das Smack Down Tag Team Title Match ist erwartungsgemäß das schwächste Match des Abends, ohne allerdings irgendwie katastrophal zu sein obwohl das Finish von Shane schon alles andere als flüssig wirkte. Dann kommt für mich das zweitbeste MOTN, in dem vor Allem das Bodywork von Sasha und zudem das Selling von Ronda aber auch von Sasha hervorstechen. Das Frauen Rumblematch im Anschluss hat zwar teils seine Längen aber auch einiges Interessantes zum Beispiel die Präsenz von zwei Kofi Kingston Spots, einige Storyrückezüge und vor Allem das emotional geschickte Booking von Becky Lynch, welche eine gute Siegerin ist. Bryan gegen Styles danach ist leider für mich die Enttäuschung des Abends. Es ist technisch kein schlechtes Match aber emotional zieht es einen nicht richtig rein, was sicherlich aber auch an der Platzierung liegt. Lesnar gegen Balor ist anständig, mit einem zwar weitesgehend dominanten Lesnar aber einem Balor, er zwischenzeitlich durchaus mal nah dran ist am Sieg, es aber am Ende dann doch nicht schaffen kann. Das Rumble Match der Herren hat von der Besetzung her sicher mehr Überraschungen zu bieten als das der Frauen, hat allerdings in meinen Augen teilweise etwas mehr Leerlauf. Kofi zeigt einen seiner Trademark Spots und die Schlussphase ist gut gebooked auch mit richtigem Sieger. Auch den Start mit Elias und JJ finde ich durchaus unterhaltsam. Die Beteiligung von Nia erschließt sich mir nicht ganz aber okay. Alles in Allem muss man sagen, dass dieser Event kein Highlight hatte aber auch kein echtes Lowlight und zudem hatten die Rumbles richtige Sieger und gute Schlussphasen, weswegen 7 Punkte angemessen sind."
[4.0] "Wauw.... Usually I'm one of those, when everybody else is bashing what we just saw, that goes: "It really wasn't that bad... I was entertained". Today was really not a good show, and both Rumbles contributed to that. Two Rumble matches, 60 entrants (well 61 if you count R-Truth and Lana, and only counts Nia's two performances as one), and only ONE entrant who could actually qualify as a surprise entrant, being Jeff Jarrett, who got what, two minutes from when the bell rang? The Women's Rumble was uncoordinated, insecure, had mistake after mistake in there, and also maybe a little too long. I will admit though that I was pleasantly surprised to see Kacy Catanzaro in there, but maybe that's just me :P The Men's Rumble was downright boring and soooo predictable. A bunch of bigger names didn't get the time that I personally would want for them, and a total of no less than six superstars was eliminated almost instantly, and had a total of less than 90 seconds in the ring. And then there were no less than four of those "oooh I almost got eliminated, but then I acrobatically saved myself"-eliminating spots, and three of them failed miserably, even though WWE tried to cover them up. And all of them led to instant elimination. I will say that the winners leave us with a possibility of some very interesting build-up towards Mania. Both World Title matches was disappointing to be honest, but kind of interesting to see where they go with the whole "Rowan interfering"-thing. The two Women's Title matches was okay, with Ronda vs Sasha being the better of them. Personally I think that the only match that I can look back on with a positive mind, was The Bar vs Miz/Shane..."
[7.0] "The first half of the pay per view was great, I enjoyed both Women's title matches, the tag team match and the Women's Royal Rumble. Ironically the show was already three hours long at this point, bringing the crowd's and my attention span to a sad minimum, which was not the right frame of mind for the otherwise brilliantly executed storytelling in the Bryan/Styles match. Lesnar and Balor brought the crowd back with a really good David vs. Goliath storytelling. The Men's Royal Rumble was fine for what it was, but to be honest at this point I needed a break. Five hours main show is just too damn long, even if none of the matches by themselves felt overly long."

I am watching tons of wrestling federations but at this year's Rumble, I remember that Royal Rumble is the best situplationed match in this industry. They have a good road to Royal Rumble. I hope RTWM will go as good as this Road To Royal Rumble. Espacially, SD Live's were awesome."
[9.0] "For a long time I did not have such emotions. Royal Rumble won those who deserve victory. Yes, the bookmakers said Seth would win, but when he beat Strowman, my heart was beating very hard. Light heavyweights had a great match for such timing. Maybe it will be strange, but it seems to me that Brock himself made the match with Balor good Good job, WWE. That's what we deserve! 9/10 and ****3/4 for men RR!"
[10.0] "This has to be one of the best main roster PPVs for match quality in years. Great opener for the Smackdown women's championship that I'd possibly call Becky Lynch's best WWE match (****1/4), tag title match was a lot more fun than I expected and even if it's ridiculous that Sheamus and Cesaro are bumping around for Shane, you've got to be impressed with that Shooting Star (***), Rousey continues to wow with her unbelievable progress still less than a year into her wrestling career. Banks brought it for this one and this was an absolute blast with a great finish (****). The Women's Rumble started off pedestrian but grew and grew and by the end was absolutely molten with what I think was the perfect booking. How refreshing. (****). AJ/Bryan was in a bad spot as the crowd were tired after the women's rumble but that doesn't change the fact that they had an excellent match that drew me back in for the last 10-15 minutes (***1/2). Shame they couldn't have done this match earlier when the crowd was fresher. Brock/Balor defied all expectations and the two of them had one of the best sub-10 minute matches I've ever seen. This one was amazing from start to finish. Brock is fantastic when he's motivated and this did more for Finn than anything I've seen of his for years. A rematch of The Demon vs. The Beast would be money. (****1/2). Finally the men's Rumble was mostly well booked and executed for the third year in a row. Lots of surprises and a hot ending. (***3/4)"
[6.0] "I think the PPV was ok, the WWE chose the right winners BUT I think it was excessively long. Asuka/Becky and Lesnar/Balor were very exciting; ShaneMiz/The Bar, Rousey/Sasha were ok; Bryan/Styles was disappointing (I blame the crowd). The Women's Royal Rumble had boring lapses during the first half but the second was pretty good. The Men's Royal Rumble was solid, although I was expecting one more surprise (not Kenny Omega, that was impossible smarks)."
[5.0] "Also ich weiß nicht... so richtig gecatched hat mich der ganze PPV nicht! Bryan vs. Styles war nichts Besonderes und das Ende absolut unglaubwürdig! Ein Chokeslam von ... Rowan? Really? ! Und AJ bleibt einfach liegen? Unglaubwürdiger geht's wirklich nicht WWE! Lesnar vs. Balor war zu erwarten, hat aber trotzdem Spaß gemacht. Das "danach" aber ebenso lachhaft! Lesnar ist während des Matches verletzt und kann seinen Suplex bzw. F5 nicht zeigen, dreht aber nach dem PIN gegen Balor nochmal auf und von Verletzung dann plötzlich keine Spur mehr? Sorry, aber das grottige Selling muss hier angesprochen werden und hat sich meines Erachtens wie ein Kaugummi durch den ganzen PPV gezogen! Die Rumble Sieger Lynch und Rollins gehen in Ordnung, sind aber auch keine große Überraschung gewesen! Insgesamt alles eher mittlerer Durchschnitt und nicht wirklich was zu spüren von großartigen Änderungen bzw. Neuerungen seitens WWE! Schade!"
