115.01.2018JT Grizzle6.0The opening threeway is good when you consider the limited experience in the ring (** 1/2). Mimura/Yoneyama, on the other hand, is actually a tad disappointing when you consider what each girl involved is capable of (** 1/2). Xia and Miranda vs. Konami and Starlight Kid was an impressive outing for all involved (***) and the following six woman tag stepped things up a little more (*** 1/4). Unfortunately the main event was an over booked cluster, which is to be expected whenever Oedo Tai are involved, but it's disappointing when talent like Io, HZK, AZM, Kagetsu and Kris are handicapped by the silly antics expected from the group; there were some good spots but mostly it was nonsense and entirely skippable (** 1/2).
212.01.2018PUNQ4.0Shiki Shibusawa -vs- Hanan -vs- Ruaka ? (3-Way) [*] A little lightweight and clumsy, but they didn't embarrass themselves. Pure energy bout ending in a fitting manner, with a lucky desperation cradle in a cradle frenzy. Kaori Yoneyama -vs- Hiromi Mimura [* 1/2] Charming match. A little playful, but got in a nice cradle sprint toward the end there with Yoneyama getting out of it in a lucky way. Xia Brookside & Miranda -vs- Konami & Starlight Kid [* 3/4] Xia Brookside came off looking like the total star in this tag. First tour of Stardom for Miranda looked good too. Starlight was perhaps the energy, but there was little she and Konami could do to match the foreigners. Kay Lee Ray & Nicole Savoy & Rachael Ellering -vs- Mari Apache & Jungle Kyona & Natsuko Tora [**] Rachael Ellering along with Nicole Savoy finally comes to Stardom! Here teaming with Kay Lee Ray who have been there a few times. This 6-women tag was more or less a showcase bout for the foreigners. Definitely not competitive! But the imports looked good and worked hard making it a fun match. Ray used the Gory Bomb to win. Io Shirai & AZM & HZK & Momo Watanabe -vs- Kagetsu & Hana Kimura & Kris Wolf & Sumire Natsu [**] The main event was a ? heated? fun match. Mostly playing around humiliating each other than anything big. Sets up a 5 vs 5 match for the January 21st Korakuen Hall, with the losing participant having to quit their faction.
