[7.0] "Both matches in the World Tag League were fine. It was cool to see how Chuckie and Cobb adapted to this new environment. I see potential in both of them for a future New Japan run. After the departure of Ricochet and Elgin also probably leaving, they would be nice additions to the roster."

[6.0] "Best Friends vs. GOD (**3/4) - Chaos vs. Elgin/Cobb (**3/4) Only these two matches went up and, while neither were bad, they were nothing special and if I'm rating this event as a whole after what I saw, this was disappointing. But, contextually, considering these were tournament block matches in the lead-up to Wrestle Kingdom, they didn't do horribly but I can't legitimately rate this much higher than a 6."

"The only quirk of a toned-down 'Mr. Idiosyncracy' Chucky T was marching up the entrance ramp, and then self-congratulating himself, at the same pace that he had just hit a somersault plancha. A game effort by both the 'Best Friends' and 'G. O. D. , ' but there wasn't much heat. Of course w/ Yano in the other tag it's hard to take the match seriously, but Ishii had his moments w/ both Cobb & Elgin. Note the quantity of 'upsets' in the first few days; the foreigners are put-over early so their value-profile to the natives is raised."

[4.0] "Beretta & Chuckie T -vs- Tama Tonga & Tanga Loa - (World Tag League - Block B) [**] Alright, but only of the B-show variety. No real downtime, but also not full-on. Just... alright with the foreigners doing what they know. Michael Elgin & Jeff Cobb -vs- Tomohiro Ishii & Toru Yano - (World Tag League - Block B) [** 1/4] Solid tag, but just imagine if Yano hadn't been there to ruin the manly feel of this. Cobb clashing with Ishii! That was a good thing. Fingers crossed for a singles match soon. I doubt the World Tag League will be a tour of killer matches, but judging from day 2 of house show battles, it's still interesting to see what'll happen."

"Best Friends vs. GoD was fine, Chuckie and Trent have a nice chemistry. Elgin & Cobb vs. CHAOS was a really nice match, Elgin and Cobb are walking suplex machines, plus the comedy in the match was fun. Overall two decent matches worth the 30 or so minutes it'll take to watch them."

[5.0] "Only the World Tag League matches for this show are currently available, so that's all I'll take into consideration in this rating, but really those are the only matches on the show that matter anyways. This was a fine show. I can't say underwhelming because it was a hardcam show for the World Tag League, so expectations weren't exactly high to begin with. Best Friends vs GOD was alright. Chuckie and Beretta may be entertaining to western fans (including myself) but their comedy spots don't really connect with the Japanese crowd, at least not yet. Chuckie looked impressive at times with his high-flying but doesn't stand out much from any other indie wrestler I've seen. GOD were solid and showed just how much they've improved from a year ago. Loa was especially entertaining with his arrogant ridiculing of Best Friends and his bruiser style looked good. Beretta sold well and picked up the win with the Dude Buster. Nothing too noteworthy but alright. **3/4. Elgin & Cobb vs Ishii & Yano was better, though it would have been much better without Yano. His comedy spots were okay, but his shenanigans still took away from an otherwise hard hitting match. Ishii looked very good against both Elgin and Cobb, as expected. Cobb's offence was impressive. I would have liked a few more Elgin & Cobb tag team moves though. Some nice throwback spots to Elgin and Ishii's excellent 2015 G1 match. ***. Unless you want to see Chuckie or Cobb this show is very skippable."
