521.11.2023crs2853.0A show with more duds than successes. Vince Russo's promo is the only thing that will really be remembered about this show. Booker and Kanyon had a really good match which was the MOTN. The opener and the Booker v Jarrett matches were also enjoyable. Every other match on the card was between just not good (Awesome/Steiner) to awful (Graveyard match)

1010.07.2023jaseboogie1 I have no words...This show had some of the most illogical booking i have ever seen. Everyone talks about the Russo shoot, but the worst thing on the show was the GRAVEYARD MATCH. The only light in the graveyard was a flash light.., ..so we couldnt actually see the match. Just garbage.

1505.02.2023Dcarter11533.0The only 2 good matches on the show are both Booker T matches. Botch 3 stars. The Hogan stuff is a huge downfall. But also almost all the other matches are nothing of note or worth mentioning. Almost all had some sort of stupid finish or interference that downed the rating. Just not a good show
1614.01.2023DanTalksRasslin2.0A show most infamous for the Vince Russo-Hulk Hogan worked-shoot-turned-real-shoot that culminated with Hogan walking out of the company, never to return. The rest of the show had Russo's fingerprints all over it, with swerves for the sake of swerves and run-ins in nearly every match. And there was the truly terrible: the Graveyard Match between Vampiro and the KISS Demon (which lacked the brutality of the Boiler Room Brawls, the chaotic fun of outside-the-arena WWF Hardcore Title matches, and the self-referential goofiness that made later attempts at this sort of thing like the Final Deletion work, leaving us just with two guys stumbling around in a fake cemetery in the dark); and a Wedding Gown "match" so bad that even the prospect of a young Stacy Keibler dancing in skimpy lingerie couldn't save it. Through everything, though, the show did have a handful of positives that saved it from a completely bottom-of-the-barrel rating - Booker T's two matches against Kanyon and Jarrett were both quite good (and the overall handling of Booker's eventual title win was genuinely well-executed, providing a feel-good moment and an optimistic note for the show to end on), and the Awesome vs Steiner and Juvi vs Chavo matches were decent enough too (despite a plethora of interference in the latter). And for WCW historians, due to the Hogan-Russo situation, it's a significant show, if not an especially good one.
1719.12.20225nicoShuffle1.0This is a pretty notorious show, being Vince Russo's peak of err... "creativity" and yeah his presence is obvious both on & off screen. [1st match] This was such an anti-opener. Bad omen seeing this type of stuff during an opener. **1/2 [2nd match] This was better and more creative than many past Hardcore matches. However, Ralphus took way too many shots than necessary. ** [3rd match] This is peak Russo stuff. Some parts were hilarious, like the women trying to avoid their faces being shoved into the cake, like it's fire or something? the few moves there were was mostly fine, but there was too much interference from the boyfriends throughout. And in the end Ms Hancock basically DQ-ed herself by removing her own dress after cutting a promo. Pure wackiness. -** [4th match] Good tag match, although Kronik & Stasiak had awkward/miscommunication moments. *** [5th match] This was ok, but had too many dumb weapons and periods of no-selling. ***1/4 [6th match] Good in-parts but messy throughout. Very weird stipulation, as The Cat won't allow Steiner to perform his recliner, yet all the other usual rule breaking stuff is just fine? ** [7th match] An interesting spectacle I suppose? but the acting was soooo bad. **3/4 [8th match] This had so many swerves and twists and turns for no reason, it became annoying. *3/4 [9th match] This was more of an angle than a match... a bad angle at that. DUD [10th match] Again, this was more of an Angle, although it had 100% more moves than the previous match on the card. *1/2 [Main] Perhaps the show saver, only because of Booker and the fan's celebrations. What came before it wasn't bad, but wasn't amazing either. *** If it wasn't for the main event, I'd give this a 0. There's very little of anything good here, and all the angles, swerves, and the commentary team trying to put it all over and talk up this show being one of the best they've ever seen is pure pain.
1805.12.2022Derek Joists2.0Well this was a weird show, not least due to Russo somehow managing to out-carny Hulk Hogan, which is certainly an achievement. There were actually a few decent matches here, which was rare by this point in WCW history, but they were overshadowed by the nonsense. The decent matches aren't worth the effort, really.

2311.06.2021Hawksrule9960.0Vince Russo was all over this show so as you can guess this was one of the worst things I have ever seen not every match sucked but by the end I could not remember any of them all I could remember was the worst promo I have ever heard and some of the worst business decisions you could make just awful

3013.02.2018Mizzle Assault Ant1.0Another terrible, Russo-riffic PPV. It probably deserves a zero but there are a couple matches you might call good, even though the low points are some of the lowest in wrestling history. Chavo/Juvie is actually a good opener, Russo's racist attitude rarely allowed luchadors on PPV. The hardcore title was kind of enjoyable as well, mostly comedy but effective as far as it goes. The "wedding gown" match is typical low rent, barely softcore titillation of the era, and also features David Flair looking like a dead fish and being pantsed. Ugh. Tag team match was solid, I suppose, and Booker/Kanyon was definitely the match of the night. Steiner/Awesome was a good match as well, in spite of a terrible finish, and call me nuts but I enjoyed the wackiness of the graveyard match, so at this point the night wasn't too bad. But boy, was I in for it after that. Douglas/Bagwell is a horrible match, and then the mother of all SWERVES, Jarrett lies down for Hogan. Hogan says WCW is in terrible shape, and commentary says they are "deviating from the script" in a sickeningly stupid moment. Vampiro appears again and partakes in the worst Undertaker rip off sketch ever seen, and then Russo comes out and cuts a promo which is an insult to all of wrestling, whining about the politics of Hogan and trying to get a pop talking about his "creative control". He says he only loves wrestlers like Booker T, which I guess explains why he booked him to be a clown for so many months before this. The crowd doesn't care about any of this, only popping when he puts Booker into the title match. Goldberg/Nash is YET ANOTHER SWERVE, and is heatless and awful. People still want to cheer Goldberg, but the geniuses made him a heel. The main event is not a good match, Jarrett just isn't interesting at all. Booker wins a title he definitely deserved, and the fans are actually glad for him, but it happened in such a stupid way you can't enjoy it.
3111.12.2017test852.01. Zudem: Ja. Es gibt wieder einen Turn. (1/2*) 11. ME war in Ordnung.

4025.06.2010Henne2.0Kein einziges wirklich sehenswertes Match dabei.
