Laura mit vielleicht ihrem besten Match gegen Windsor, deren hier neuer Look gut aussieht (**1/2). Dann das erste "aufs Maul" Match mit Rückkehrer Webster, der sich seinem Trainer in einem sehr geilen, harten Match stellt (***). Party Catch mit SPPT und den Riots. Komplett frei von Psychologie, dafür voll mit Spots, geilen Spots, coolen Spots und kranken Spots (***1/2). Der Abschied anschließend ist ziemlich rührend. Haskins vs. Andrews als Match gut, das Finish war bischen doof aber immerhin ergibt es einen späteren Three Way (***). Sexsmith vs. Robinson mein drittliebstes Match. Scheiße war das geil, ganz ernsthaft. Robinson ist ein Arschloch, ein komplettes und irres und allumfassendes. So viele bekloppte Details wie er in seine Matches einbaut ist einfach geil. Und Sexsmith? Ist over wie Sau und arbeitet hart. Sehr hart (***3/4). Main Event rockt alles in die Hölle. Es gibt nur einen dummen Spot (der Flip von Bate auf Walter der unpassend war und nicht im Ansatz traf), der Rest: war geil. Einfach so. Dann noch ein Abschied. Ein sehr stiller. Die Fans lieben Ringkampf und hier lieben sie Axel noch einmal ganz besonders für den Moment, den er alleine im Ring steht (****1/4). |

Andrews gegen Haskins ist ein ganz gutes Match mit einem bescheuerten Finish. Semi Main Event gefiel mir nicht. Der Main Event ist großartig, was für eine Atmosphäre und das Wrestling ist sehr stark. ****1/2 |

| 8 | 28.05.2017 | marexcel | 7.0 | Auftakt wie immer ganz launig, aber auch dieses Mal ohne größere Highlights, wenn auch gefühlt mit etwas besserer Akkustik. Der Opener geht durch, Dennis wirkt in der Tat motiviert bei seinem Comeback, ist gegen Drakes Siegenerin aber chancenlos. Laura und Alex machen das ebenfalls brauchbar, wenn auch die Intensität für so ein Halbfinal-Match fehlt. Aber Laura ist meiner Meinung dafür auch einfach (noch) nicht gemacht. Bird und Webster liefern sich ein sehr runden Teacher vs Student-Duell. Der Hintergrund spiegelt sich gut im Match wider. Mit Drake/Webster wird zudem eine recht interessante Paarung direkt aufgebaut. Starke Pops für SPPT und nette „Fvck you, VISA“-Chants. Durch den Abschied von TK und Dahlia ein besonderes Match. Comedy-Auftakt mündet in ein gutes Match mit sehenswerten Sequenzen. Sehr passendes Segment nach dem Match. Andrews und Haskins liefern sich ein ordentliches Match bis es in die gute Schlussphase geht. Finish und die Konsequenz daraus ist ok. Sexsmith und Robinson mit so einem typischen PROGRESS-Match. Kurzweiliges Ding auf solidem Niveau. Als Verschnaufspause für das starke Main Event aber vielleicht genau richtig. Die Herren liefern stark ab und so fügen sich die teiwleise genialen Spots in ein sehr flüssiges und rundes Match. Klares MOTN und auch ein Kandidat für den Matchguide. Insgesamt hat Chapter 47 doch mehrfach Luft nach oben, weiß dennoch zu unterhalten. |

Di Matteo vs Windsor was a very solid tournament contest; Laura has some real potential (***). Webster vs Bird was a good story between student and teacher, face and heel, but it didn't really hit another gear (***). SPPT vs Riots was a HOT tag match with some wild spots to send Cooper & Dahlia off; not as good as a few other SPPT matches this year, but a great one nonetheless (****). I really didn't care about the #1 Contendership match, and I say that as a fan of Haskins; I just don't care about Mandrews at all, and I honestly skipped some of this so I'm not rating it. Robinson did a pretty good job carrying Sexsmith, who is not a very good wrestler, but is very over and does have some fire; Travis Banks did a better job at getting a great match out of Jack, but this was hardly bad (**3/4). The main event built very slowly, still being on the mat over 15 minutes in after some good brawling and breakdown segments; Ringkampf are all just totally on point in this match, while BSS are a trio of total dickbags that even fuck with each other sometimes; eventually BSS work over Thatcher as he builds to a tag, and this is where the match starts changing from good trios match into something great; Dieter's hot tag transitions into a really awesome sequence of Ringkampf taking over and THEN it breaks down into a phenomenal sequence featuring Tyler Bate doing a Shooting Star Headbutt before a DEADLIFT ON FUCKING WALTER and it kept being awesome from there on; I feel like they could've gone another few minutes before they got to the finish, although I liked the finish itself (****1/4 to ****1/2, could've broken into MOTY territory with a little more). Dieter's farewell after Ringkampf's last match as a trio was really cool. Overall a decent show with two GREAT matches. |

Overall this show sure was more on the weaker side of things, but the classic main event boosts it some points from me. |

Bird hab ich hier zum ersten mal gesehen und Webster ist normalerweise nicht mein Fall (***1/2). SPPT mit emotionalen Abschied, aber die Riots sind als Gegner halt echt nicht gut (***1/4). Haskins vs. Andrews fing gut an, endet aber leider im Bullshit. Pin & Submission gleichzeitig macht nie Sinn (***1/4). Sexsmith nervt mich einfach und das Match bestand einfach aus Non-Selling. Main Event dann MotN. Schöne Atmosphäre mit der aufgeheizten Stimmung. (***3/4) |
