[7.0] "Lots of talking with not enough cool matches. Matt Hardy's new deranged gimmick takes some getting used to, especially the weird accent, but I like the effort being put forth which definitely seems all his doing. His match with EC3 was fine but the finish was dumb. I get the idea of Bennett cheating EC3 out of a match with him being despicable, but at the same token he cost himself a spot in the PPV. I really like the build to the big championship match has been done well and the match getting stipulated for knockout or submission only was cool. Grado's stuff with Shera and Snow was confusing in a humorous way, but his match really was nothing. The debut of the French guys that for some reason worship Al Snow was weird, but I was having so much fun watching the Grado stuff that I didn't care. The Ultimate X match was cool, but the finish seemed overbooked. Gail was forced into a match with a monster to keep her job, but it was so short that it lost its importance. The BroMans stuff was funny and I'm glad they found something for Raquel. She's too hot not to be seen on TV. The ladder match main event was fine. I liked the fact that the heels each had a specific function; Tyrus was tough and strong enough to punish Jeff Hardy, while Soud could climb the ladder since Tyrus was too big and heavy to do so."
[8.0] "Pretty good episode all things considered. The KO match was very good for it's length, and the Ultimate X match was pretty impressive as well. I think they could have gotten more out of the main event but it was still pretty decent."
[5.0] "Opening Segment okay. EC3 vs. Hardy war naja... und gerade als es Fahrt aufnahm, kommt das DQ Finish... echt nicht gut. Die Bennett Promo war dann ganz nett, Knockouts Segment in Ordnung. Grado vs. Al Snow war der zu erwartende Witz. Die Matchansetzung zwischen Galloway und Lashley macht für mich keinen Sinn. Der kurze Brawl war ganz nett. Das Ultimate X Match war in Ordnung, Finish perfekt gemacht. Gail Kim vs. Sienna war schwach. Dass Gail Kim gewinnt war zu erwarten. ME war dann okay. Insgesamt kommt TNA May Mayhem 2016 bei mir auf 4, 80 von 10 Punkten - okay. (Mit Showinhalten, ohne 3, 80)."
