[5.0] "Bushi/Sydal: On this night, the match I am most looking forward to. Hopefully Niigata doesn't have three rows of Bushi faithful who leave upon his match's end. Unfortunately, the match is both too short as well as Bushi is heeling it up ala Naito, for any spectacular movesets to occur outside of a bullet suicide dive. This Sydal shooting star looked far more painful for his knees than Bushi's ribcage. Gedo/O'Reilly: There was no way that prime Kyle will get outworked by a 47 yr old so the wily vet had to be crafty and heel-ish to be on the offense. Basic sound structure (face shine/heat/face comeback shine/near-falls/heel gets a very close near fall/face shine->end) that the crowd enjoyed. On this tour, Kyle's been much more interactive with the crowd Finlay/Taguchi: After the first couple of feel-out minutes the match felt rather hurried - perhaps that's the consequence of Finlay aspiring to prove his worth... overdoing the urgency. Romero/Kushida: I wonder if Kushida's gimmicked dog tag is at all related to Killshot's melancholy. Note that Rocky's suicide dive was tempered in speed and executed on the right side of the ring in order to protect his bandaged left shoulder. Considering the denouncement I was surprised that Rocky took most of the match. Good match and, funny enough, the crowd was behind the upset. Afterwards Rocky acted as if his match was the main event of the eve and spoke some declaring himself the for-sure winner of the tourney."
