111.03.2024Nevermore425.0This was a pretty mid episode. We opened with a pretty good elimination match between Elix Skipper, the Amazing Red, Joel Maximo, Jose Maximo, and Kid Kash. Chris Harris and James Storm then defended their Tag Team Titles against the Hot Shots in the Match of the Night, mostly based on the strength of their performance. Jerry Lynn then faced Sonny Siaki in a decent match that could have been great if Lynn wasn't stuck selling an injury for the entire time. Things then slowed way down with a match between Scott Hall and Jeff Jarrett. Hall was not looking good here, and I'm not sure he was entirely sober. BG James then took on Brian Lawler in a match that could have actually been decent if Lawler wasn't overselling everything. Syxx-Pac then defended his X-Division Title in a pretty good No Disqualification Match against AJ Styles. Jorge Estrada then fought Ace Steel in a nothing match that was just there so that Mortimer Plumtree could beat up Priscilla. Finally, Ron Killings then defended his World Heavyweight Title against Curt Hennig in a bland, over booked match that showed flashes of actual quality when the booking wasn't getting in the way.
215.08.2023BlackVikingGZ5.0The first part of the show was fine. The opening X Division elimination match was really intense and cool. Also AMW's match was very compelling. Lynn vs Siaki made sense for their storyline, but wasn't the best match. The NWA X Division match was really cool, even with that horrible interference finish. The rest of the card is bad, specially the Lawler storyline and all the Truth stuff. This show was better than others i've seen, but that doesn't make it particulary good.

508.09.2019Mizzle Assault Ant5.0Better than some weeks we've seen, I'll give it that much. The best matches were definitely Styles/Waltman and the opening elimination match, both very exciting and impressive. The tag title match was pretty good and Lynn/Siaki was effective for the story they were telling. Road Dogg/Lawler really sucked, as does the whole storyline with April, Vince Russo at his most Russo-ish. Scott Hall is not looking very good in this period. Hennig looks marginally better but he and Killings are a poor match for each other, not a very good main event.

916.02.2010sign squad3.0Nichts wirkt so wirklich rund.
