[3.0] "The '86 Crockett Cup is available (not in full) on the WWE Network, and I couldn't help myself from watching this; even if at times I did. This was a big cross promotional show between Jim Crockett Promotions and the Universal Wrestling Federation to celebrate tag team wrestling, and the legacy of Jim Crockett Sr. These shows took place on the same day; the first show in the afternoon, then the second in the evening. I'm just rating these as one show, so I will be giving both a three. The first four matches are cut out on the Network and this is still over a four hour show; this is a real chore to get through at some points. There is two-three really good matches on this show but a lot of the show is also boring and bad finishes."

The best match by far is The Sheepherders v The Fantastics. It's a unbelievable match and proves that the Bushwackers were far from just the comedy team that they became in WWF. Highly recommend this match."

[6.0] "This show was long. I mean, really long. 4+ hours and that was only what was aired. Most of the afternoon show didn't air but what we got was revolutionary for its time. I understand why some matches were slow or short, in order to save time and energy for later matches, but that didn't stop some of these matches from being chores to get through. Regardless, this was a fairly satisfying event and well worth a watch just for the sheer history of it. Most of the matches on the match guide here were indeed the highlights, but I have to give props to the Sheepherders for being, in my opinion, the highlight amongst the tag teams. These guys were brutal, much more than what they would become later on. Flair vs. Rhodes wasn't much different than their other encounters but I sure as hell enjoyed the finish. Again, I only watched this for its historic value and while the length killed the show for me, I won't deny that it produced some solid and enjoyable matches."
