| 6 | 09.02.2016 | Paul Allain | 9.0 | This is the first installment of PWG's All Star Weekend tradition, and it starts with an incredible bang. The name value alone is impressive (AJ Styles / Samoa Joe / Bryan Danielson / Christopher Daniels / Alex Shelley / Chris Sabin / El Generico / Kevin Steen / Super Dragon / Chris Hero / Jonny Storm / Davey Richards / James Gibson, etc... ) making a formidable line-up. Both even more impressive is the high-quality and the constance of the show. While some matches can be underwhelming (the tag team matches and Gibson/Danielson), the general feeling of the card is of incredible, sustained, quality. From simple but enjoyable matches (Sabin/Hero, Williams/Storm) to positively great matches (Daniels/Shelley, Styles/Samoa, Dragon/Steen/Generico). Even the locals knew how to handle the magnitude of the event, as the 6-Man Tag finally provided a quality match to the Arrogance/AXP feud and kicked it into higher gear. This resounding success could arguably be called the best show in PWG early years, and sets the bar very high for the second night of the weekend, who would end up significant as well. |
| 7 | 03.01.2014 | WalrusSongs | 7.0 | There are a lot of really good matches here, especially the American Dragon vs. James Gibson (*** 1/2 stars) and AJ Styles vs. Samoa Joe (**** stars) match, but the Hook Bomberry/Topgun Talwar nonsense and Kendo Kashin (who completely pissed off ROH and their fans a week earlier as Super Dragon B) once again showing that he didn't deserve the praise he got. The Daniels vs. Shelley match was also pretty good, as was the main event Three Way Dance, which I believe had the first occurrence of Generico's top rope brainbuster. Overall a pretty good show that was bogged down by some usual early PWG lameness. |

Styles vs Joe kann gar nicht schief gehen und auch diesmal kommt ein starkes Match heraus. Danielson vs Gibson habe ich nicht so stark gesehen (* * 1/4), kann aber auch mein Fehler sein. Der Rest ist OK und leidet unter einem lahmen Main Event, der einfach keinen Fluß hat. |
