[7.0] "Good set up for a brutal night 2. As usual with IWA Deep South the crowd is kinda dead at some points. The most brutal match (which went right) is probably Boodrow vs JD Horror, although bot guys would eventually even step up theorie game in night 2. John Wayne Murdoch gets the infamous crazy deep cup in his shoulder during this show."

[5.0] "This is one of the better Carnage Cups I think I've seen. Absolutely loaded with brutal spots. The show peeked at the first match that actually had some cool wrestling incorporated with the the violence you'd want on a show like this. Yukon Jack and Freakshow almost had one of the most disastrous spots of all time with a glass door. Like a window door. Jay/Woods, Ron/Jeremy and Tremont/Tank kinda slowed the card down but it's fine, they all had atleast one decent spot at the bare minimum. Also Tank/Tremont was kinda a dream match even back then so it had that going for it atleast. Kristian/Rare was pretty allright. I'm pretty sure it's Kristians first and only match from what I was able to gather. To be fair it's really not that bad either. JD/Boodrow was insane. Both these 2 take some gnarly bumps throughout such as the barbedwire fish hook contraption on the outside, the two lightube bumps between the guardrail/apron that Boodrow took were insane and the last wild spot is when Boodrow puts the fish hook through JD's neck. JWM/Crow was looking to be the best match of the card. Actual really fucking good wrestling untill Murdoch gets his arm splits wide open in a brutal scene ending night 1 in a gruesome way."
