117.07.2023Killerman4.0DREAMER/NOWINSKI- Before the match starts off we get loud ECW chants. Nowinski starts the match off with a belly to back and slaps Tommy's ass(not joking) it infuriateTommy so much it scares Chris out the ring then when their back in Tommy does the same thing but kicks him in the ass this time. The biggest highlight of the night was when Chris slammed Tommy back first on the outside halfway through the match. The finish came when Dreamer ddt'ed Nowinski on a Singapore cane. Ummm I guess it was a allright 5-6 minute match, I thought this match is passable but it needed more time, obviously but thats Heat for you. They rarely have long matches. 1and3/4*.BRYAN/RICO- Fun fact this is Bryan's 2nd ever TV match for WWE. A couple pretty great tie up sequences and chain wrestling but that's to be expected from Bryan. After a solid minute or 2 it started getting faster paced. At one point Rico goes for some kinda power bomb thing and Bryan manages to reverse it into a cool inside cradle after kicking his feet off the ropes. Also throughout the match these men were hitting eachother with hard looking kicks and big chops that were really good looking. Again if they had more time it woulda gotten a higher rating but that's heat for yah. Overall solid match tho nothing mindblowing. Also cool to see Bryan so young in his career. 2*. BATISTA/SPIKE- Another fun fact is this is Batistas Heat debut and only his 6th televised WWE match. Anyways this match was kinda your typical big man-little man squash. Batista throws Spike around alot. At one point it looked like Spike was gonna get some slight offence in after he reversed a press slam attempt but shorty after Batista murders the guy with a spear. Then we getta Batistabomb and 1, 2, 3 it's over. Really boaring squash that couldnt really ever pick up, even for Heat standards. I guess it made him look good but I wish they gave the former "giant killer" some more offence. 1*. SGT/RICHARDS- This is Sgt's first of 5 matches in WWE during 2003. Certainly somthing I wasnt expecting to witness but I couldn't pass up on it so here I am reviewing this show haha. So the match starts off with both of them doing their poses then a walk around the ring untill they lock up. Sgt puts Stevie in a Cobra Clutch within the first min of the match but Stevie quickly excapes. Alot of walking around and slow punching from Sgt before locking in another Cobra Clutch that Stevie slipped out of quickly again. Sgt brings Stevie to the corner and hits him with some nasty chops untill Stevie reverses into a strong Irishwhip in the other corner that sends Sgt over the toprope. What the hell is he doin takin a bump like that at his age. Some more brawling takes place till Stevie put Sgt in his own finisher theCamelClutch but he escapes terribly and falls over. Smh. Eventually Sgt locks in aCobra Clutch for the win. Terrible main but what else did you expect from Sgt in 2003. Kinda in away this was justa spectacle, notta good wrestling
