"KKK member, that is all. no matter how he was as a wrestler he was a KKK member. he has a membership card, took Dusty Rhodes to a KKK rally without him knowing. trash human."

I will never recommend any match he was in as he was a member of the Klu Kulx Klan. for some reason he also tried saying he was a marine while never being one. looked awful and like he didn't take care of himself in the slightest. didn't help his character in my opinion at all. yes he was decent in the ring but I can name you about 30 people who were wrestling at the same time as him that where miles ahead. nothing special and will forever be remembered as a racist. Rocky Johnson said Murdoch kept kicking him for real in a match but good news, Johnson knocked him the fuck out. he also sent Tony Atlas to a KKK meeting as a joke. this guy can rest in piss"

[9.0] "I have to write a comment for giving Dick Murdoch a 9? On what planet? Dick is one of the greatest brawlers to ever lace em up, with a style that translates across the Pacific as well as anyone of his era and a true penchant for selling and bumping. The psychology of the "barroom brawl" coursed through the man, and he was such a perfect upper-midcard test for ascending babyfaces. His WWF stuff is just fine, but it's his work in Japan and the territories that truly defines him. But here he's being reduced to shoot interview infamy by people who have never seen him wrestle... I wouldn't give a card-carrying Klansman the credit if he were still alive, but he died young 30 years ago and all that remains is a ton of top-shelf work."

[1.0] "I didn't like this guy and never will, no matter many "great" matches people will recommend to me, only for me to watch and come away disappointed. I first remember seeing him as the guy who turned on Dusty Rhodes in the Crockett territory, but have since gone back and watched his older stuff where he was supposed to be this great storyteller and wrestler. But he wasn't believable in the least and looked like that cousin you denied was part of your family because he was always out back in the woods snorting coke. On top of that, he was a member of the KKK and while I don't deduct for personal choices, I had no reason to ever give a shit about this idiot."

[2.0] "EDIT: Brazenly sloppy work in a time where everyone was tightening things up considerably. Sloppiest/crappiest looking brain buster EVER and even his fireman's carry looked terrible (how? ). Completely AWFUL physique. Promos full of yelling with spit and slobber slinging from his missing teeth. What else? Openly racist, was never a marine and wasn't much of a seller/bumper either. Are there any saving graces? Of course! He had one hell of a flying headscissor takedown, which is just bewildering. And for whatever bizarre reason he and Adrian Adonis had outstanding chemistry with The Wild Samoans and I swear brought out the best in them! I still scratch my head at those facts. He also looked rather great at Slamboree 93, another confusingly enjoyable moment for me. I have to be honest with myself and give him some points based upon a handful of "what the hell? this is legitimately good" moments . Mostly rancid and fecal, speckles of diamonds though."

I dont think he has that sort of credibility. hes very entertaining though and you can put him upper midcard and he will pull a good match out of anyone"

Murdoch could wrestle literally anywhere and draw money. One of the most underrated talents of his era and ever, he can never ever be recreated. Godspeed Captain Redneck!"

[10.0] "Since a 10 rate is a very good and he was great so I give him a 10 then Dick Murdoch his combination of traditional brawling mixed with flawless timing, an impressive array of scientific manuevers and a natural talent on the microphone set him a notch or two above most others, a fantastic highly skilled 6'3"ish 270-280 charismatic bad body scientific brawler who was a finely-tuned wrestling machine who also was mammoth high-flyer, . a very good seller a one of the greatest bumper all-time ! very much like his mentor Killer Karl Kox take away the high flying. now I don't care if he was a member of the Ku Klux Klan or not. tick or tat like he was long time friends with Ernie"The Big Cat"Ladd who he traveled with in many territories and was multiple time tag partner with JYD that lasted with fairly kind of long runs in multiple territories Georgia and mid South. Now he viewed as one of the greatest wrestlers who never won a main territory world title, held high mid-card level title and ton of tag team titles, was part of the legendary Texas Outlaws him and Dusty Rhodes and then part of all-time super-under-rated North-South Connection him and The Golden Boy" Adrian Adonis."
