I've never heard of Kohsaka either but he does pretty well in this match. Mostly back and forth submissions as both of them bring the proper violence and struggle that I expect from these matches. The ending is cool but also can't help but feel a bit unsatisfied by it. |

Even if you watch Volk Han a lot, you rarely see how scary he can be. At one point, Han took Kohsaka's back and you could see the power and leverage Han had. If he wanted, he could've done anything. The way Han and Koshka played off each other was solid with tons of counters and transitions. ***1/4 |
| 11 | 23.10.2021 | CFOS | 10.0 | Rings Maelstrom V : Again, what a match ! The technical exchanges were so good. Volk han is incredible when it comes to do a knee bar. The transition by Kohsaka for doing his arm bar is insane too. At the end, Volk Han destroyed Kohsaka with some palm strikes and Kohsaka was bleeding after some shots in the head. The crowd was like always hot at everytime these two locked up a submissions. Another Outsanding performance by Kohsaka and Volk Han in ONLY 11min. CFØS Ratings : ****3/4 |
| 12 | 21.10.2021 | SZ1989 | 9.0 | This was everything I expected and more. Volk Han and Kohsaka both come out of the gates at full speed, each trying to one-up each other with slick submissions. The grappling and matwork in this match were exceptional, we truly see Kohsaka at his best for the first time perhaps. Kohsaka seems to have Volk Han in his grasps several times, catching him by surprise with quick leglocks and a rear-naked choke one time as well. Volk Han his own answers, pulling out some of his best moves in a while to keep the young upstart at bay. The match, unfortunately, ends early with a legit KO as Volk Han delivers some of the fiercest strikes I've seen. This doesn't take away from the match though, as it added some realism and inadvertent storytelling to the match. This was a RINGS classic, no question. ****3/4 |
