[6.0] "It's a bit of an oddity purely because of how strange it is to Jarrett as a full blown babyface in this era, but I did quite enjoy this match. His home crowd was great for him. Bubba's a decent big man heel that gets some good underhanded moments and Jimmy Hart is a very entertaining foil and some of the bumps he takes here are hilarious."
[6.0] "Jeff Jarrett returns to Memphis and the crowd missed him. It's popular to trash on Jarrett, but I like the guy, mostly because I grew up on Memphis Wrestling and watched him every week. Bubba Rogers, aka Big Boss Man, does a fine job of being a heel here."
[8.0] "Jarrett's second match on Nitro and he is over with the crowd ! This match is really basic but is so good. Everybody did their part well, Bubba and Double J have good punches and good offenses. The timing on everything was near perfect. Really good TV match."
[4.0] "for me, this match, on the contrary, was not as bad as some of the shows. Of course, he is weak and passing, but you can give him 4 points. But of course there are better uses for Jarrett."
[3.0] "I will always say the talents of the former Big Bossman were underappreciated even into his later career, but there's only so much he can do with a guy like Jarrett, no chemistry between them and personally I don't think Jarrett brings much to the table here."
