You deserve zero credit for tonight's success. They office might be buying to it, but these people are gonna let you know. That's right, I don't have any creative geniuses writing my script tonight, folks. Remember when RVD had a vocabulary, when I had a voice? You remember when these people were chanting my initials from the opening of the show through the intermission all the way to the main event? Remember that?

Because I was going to have the opportunity to come out and actually use my abilities and my skills to make sure that everybody watching went home happy. And then I had to get this knee surgery. And Doctor Anders had to face my torn ACL and my torn meniskus and I'm not gonna be cleared to wrestle on this pay-per-view. And that sucks worse then anything for me, way worse then anything. Worse then missing the overseas tours to Japan and Europe. This sucks worse then Booker T's wedding that I missed. This sucks worse then missing Wrestle-freakin'-Mania. I would gladly pass all that up to be here right now, 'cause this is what I'm about. RVD is ECW!"
