[Vince McMahon, Kane und der Undertaker stehen zu Beginn von RAW bereits im Ring. Stone Cold Steve Austin kommt mit seiner Musik in die Halle, doch wird von einem wütenden McMahon unterbrochen.]

Vince McMahon: "CUT THE DAMN MUSIC! I SAID CUT IT OFF! ... [an Austin gewandt] I'M DAMN SICK AND TIRED OF WATCHING YOU WALK AROUND WITH THAT WWF CHAMPIONSHIP BELT! And on Sunday night, September 27 I won't have to see it again. Most of you know that recently I announced a master plan. A master plan that would guarantee that Stone Cold Steve Austin on Sunday night, September 27 would lose the WWF championship. Most of you also know that in yet a further on this night, Sunday night, September 27 I've ordered a Triple Threat Match in which Stone Cold Steve Austin would defend the WWF title against both The Undertaker and Kane.

However, what none of you know--especially you, Austin--is there's been a little business arrangement here, as you might suspect. You see, I've granted The Undertaker and Kane a title shot, but they're gonna do a little something for me as well. You see, business is business--don't get me wrong! There's no love lost between Vince McMahon and The Undertaker and Kane. I WILL NEVER FORGIVE OR FORGET what you've done! However, it's real simple, Austin. You see, I scratch their back and they scratch mine. Or maybe, maybe I shouldn't say they scratched my back; maybe I should say they protect my back. You see, Austin, if you so much as lay one finger on me one or both of these two monsters will be all over you; they'll annihilate you! Which is what's gonna happen at Sunday night, September the 27th anyhow: You're gonna be annihilated!

Now why is it that Vince McMahon can guarantee to the public that the WWF title is gonna change hands? Well, a number of reasons, but principal among them is this new stipulation in that Triple Threat Match, a stipulation that was added just a moment ago. And that is, Undertaker, you're prohibited from defeating your brother Kane in this match. And Kane, you are absolutely prohibited from defeating your brother, The Undertaker, in this match. You see, this is not a normal Triple Threat Match, no. Now, let me see. If my addition is correct, I would say in all likelihood, hey, this could be two against one. You see, Austin, YOU WON'T DO BUSINESS, YOU REFUSE TO DO BUSINESS! You won't do things the easy way like Undertaker and Kane, no no no no, you gotta do things the hard way. You gotta do things your way. So have it you way, alright? And on Sunday night, September 27, Austin, when you're flat on your back, looking up at these ringlights and there's been an announcement that you are no longer the WWF champion, I want you to remember one thing. And that is... Vince McMahon didn't screw Stone Cold Steve Austin, oh no, not at all. Stone Cold screwed Stone Cold!"
