Jim Cornette: "Ladies and Gentlemen, this time please welcome the newest member of the Ring Of Honor talent roster. This man has wrestled in every major promotion in this sport under a variety of names. He has been controversial everywhere he has ever gone. The only wrestler ever to be banned from network television. He made news just recently, when he demanded his release from a long term contract from his previous employer. He's in Ring Of Honor now. Mr. Daivari, obviously your actions and your reputation preceded you in Ring Of Honor, but at this point I'm wondering what are your goals now that you have come to ROH?"

Shawn Daivari: "As Jim Cornette just stated, everybody, my name is Shawn Daivari and if you pardon me for just one second... Shawn Daivari: "I want the camera man to get a nice, tight shot of this face so even the deaf and dumb can read my lips. I am not a sheik. I am not a terrorist. I am a professional wrestler! And the reason I've been able to walk away from guaranteed money is because I can afford to. Now unlike every inbreed American who wants you to believe that a man with my skin and my facial features and my look has money ties to the industry in the Middle East, I have money because I've earned it! For the last ten years I've been wrestling full-time. For the last five years I've been on prime time television. I've never missed a show, a loop, a tour, taking time of for injuries, bumped, bruised, cut, stitched, crashed... I will die and murder for professional wrestling! To make a living, to earn!

And the reason for that, Jim Cornette, is I am the best! Unlike everyone here in South Philadelphia I would never expect well-fare check. Unlike everyone in the rest of the United States I would accept a government bail-out. I would never lower myself to that standard. I have to earn the right of life, liberty and pursuit of happiness, to live my dream, which makes me more American than anyone in this building and anyone watching at home. My name is Shawn Daivari!" Jim Cornette: "Mr. Daivari, with all due respect, I think you incite a lot of this animosity from the crowd because you're always calling racism. Why don't you stand up and be your own man?"

Shawn Daivari: "Jimmy, I am gonna be my own man. And nobody, nobody, nobody, no network, no writer, and no hick promoter is gonna stop Shawn Daivari!"
