[Shawn Michaels steht im Umkleidebereich und starrt auf einen Fernseher. Er hat soeben den Sieg des Undertakers über Rey Mysterio gesehen. Plötzlich taucht Kane auf.]

Kane: ''Your obsession with my brother is unhealthy, Shawn. Speaking as the someone who has eliminated more men in a single Royal Rumble Match than anyone else ever has. Speaking as the only man to ever face The Undertaker at WrestleMania twice. I'm here to tell you that whatever vision you have in your head, whatever obsession is driving you, in the end there is no light, Shawn, only darkness.'' [Kane verlässt den Raum.]

[Als nächstes betritt Triple H den Raum, welcher sich wiederholend nach Kane umsieht.]

Triple H: ''Ehm—taking that wasn't named pep talk. Listen man, it's a big night tonight. I just came in here to wish you good luck.''

Shawn Michaels: ''I appreciate that. You know... [holt tief Luft] about last week--you know, I'm sorry. Ah, I don't have any right to be stepping on your dream of winning the Rumble and going on to WrestleMania. It was selfish. Just wanted you to know that I'm sorry and I hope the best man wins out there and... [holt erneut tief Luft] if there's anybody I'd like to see stay on the other side of the ring... it's you.''

Triple H: ''I appreciate that, man. I feel the exact same way.''

[Sie geben sich einen Handschlag und Triple H will den Raum verlassen, aber Shawn lässt Hunters Hand nicht los.]

Shawn Michaels: ''I gotta tell you though, me and The Undertaker--it's meant to be.''

Triple H: ''I know it is, Shawn. That's why I know you'll find another way.'' [Triple H verlässt den Raum.]
