Literally the only way he's gotten to this position is because of his family, Vince's fetish of big, muscly dudes, and fan girls/casuals not understanding that he's bad and judging only on looks."

[Kommentar] "Roman Reigns. It's a name that brings out a lot of different emotions. Some love him, some hate him. No denying he's certainly made an impact. No matter how we feel it looks like we will be forced to watch him be the next top babyface. That's the problem. I don't buy him as a babyface. At least not yet. The man has a natural personality and physique fit for a heel but yet he's pushed as the crowd favorite. I don't understand. Why would I cheer a guy who's bigger than the rest of the roster, has no charisma, and can not perform as well as the others in the ring? Why would I cheer Reigns over a guy like AJ Styles who is the underdog by way of size and the better performer? Reigns doesn't sell moves very well and he hits his same three or four moves and pins his opponent clean. It's too much of a Superman thing. I enjoyed Roman Reigns as part of the Shield. He was a monster and he didn't have to carry an entire match by himself. Ambrose & Rollins did the wrestling and Reigns came in and hit his big moves. It was great. As a big guy with a cocky attitude and a limited moveset I think he would be much better suited as a monster heel for the underdog baby faces to come up against. This would also allow Reigns to maybe grow in the ring before he turns face again. It's just not realistic to expect me to cheer for Roman Reigns when he makes everyone else look small and he can not compete at the same level as them either."

A heel turn would also benefit Roman and WWE in great way I think. I don't really like Roman but I don't consider him incompetent by any means he can get better"

[8.0] "First of all, don't kill me. Now, Reigns is great. I'll start off by quoting Paul Heyman: "Roman is the right guy, in the right place, at the wrong time" - And this is 100% true. He proved time and time again with guys like Bryan, Cesaro, Lesnar and most recently, AJ Styles, that he belongs in the ring with them! Some say that they carried which to that I say - You need two wrestlers (or more) in order to have a good match. Reigns can hang in the ring with those guys. People complain about him having only 5 moves and yet they are going wild for Stone Cold (who also had "5 moves") Thing is about Roman, is that he is really good. It's just creative trying to push him in the wrong direction. He isn't ready to be the face of the company. Even Stone Cold said that Reigns needs a long heel run before he would be accepted by the majority of the fans (Stone Cold's opinion is the what counts the most for me) and I agree with him. Plus, he would be a GREAT heel!"

[8.0] "Roman Reigns is a victim of the stubborn internet fans who can never change their opinion of somebody. How many more 4 star plus matches does he have to put on? You can say he's being carried but it still takes two to tango. The "you still suck" chants are pretty much translated to "it doesn't matter what you do, we will always think you're bad". John Cena is another example, he puts on great matches all the time, but it's always his opponent's good work apparently. The Miz is still considered a reality TV star and not a wrestler by some. So Reigns is always going to be hated no matter what he does. Look, his promos fucking suck, I won't deny that, but I believe his ring performances more than make up for it. Not everyone needs one million moves to be a good wrestler, sometimes simplicity works just as well. Are there better options for World Champion right now? Yes. Will I eventually tire of seeing Reigns when he is over-pushed? Yes, but as of right now he hasn't even been champion for a combined 100 days so let's get off his back."

[0.0] "I cannot call this "the gay"... Oh, sorry, "the guy" a wrestler. When he was a part of the Shield, my opinion was neutral about him. I just did not pay attention on him. When the Shield has callapsed, Rollins and Ambrose changed their gimmics, but Reigns is still a guy from nonexistent group. He has the same cloth, same entrance music. His movese are spear, samoan drop, dropkick and superman punch. That`s all what he has got! His matches are the same. He almost always wins! He has been thousands of times in main events of Raw, Smackdown and different ppvs. He was two times in main event of Wrestlemania. He is already three time champion for 6 months. Last time he was pinned by someone 5 years ago! WWE authorities make from him a new superman! As you can see, Reigns is completly overpushed! His micskills are awful. Look at his catchphrase "I am not a good guy, I am not a bad guy, I am the guy". Wtf is this sh**t? ! This sounds totally redicilous. Others and I are sick and tired of him, we hate him, but authorities still shove him down in our throats. There are other tallaned guys who could be a champion! Fire Reigns!"

Let's face it, if he looked like Kevin Owens or Daniel Bryan, Vinice wouldn't give him a second glance. But since he gives ol'Vinnie such a hard on with his look, he gets pushed to the moon. Fucking joke..."

They have so many other talented wrestlers on their roster and they have this talentless hack as their champion. Pathetic........"

[7.0] "A certain segment of fans will question how Roman Reigns was propelled to the forefront of the WWE; but at this point, he's going to have to sink or swim now that the WWE is going to anoint him as "the guy. " Coming from the renown Anoa'i family, Reigns has the looks and physical gifts to be a WWE stud. Starting off in the WWE developmental system, Reigns managed to secure the FCW Tag Team Championship with Mike Dalton/Tyler Breeze before FCW gave away to NXT. As Reigns transitioned to the WWE, he debuted as part of The Shield; which ultimately proved to be one of the most popular factions in WWE history. As the trio took the WWE by storm, Reigns managed to secure the WWE Tag Team Championship alongside Seth Rollins. Yet as The Shield broke up (and as Rollins turned heel), Reigns began to cut his own path that would see him chase the WWE Championship. After winning Royal Rumble 2015, Reigns faced Brock Lesnar for the title; only to have Rollins cash in his Money In The Bank contract successfully for the title victory. Reigns would eventually win the WWE Championship, with his reign as champion coming into its own following a victory at WrestleMania 32. While the criticism of his booking isn't unwarranted, the WWE is still able to propel Reigns to the forefront because despite the complaints, the fans ultimately accept him as their champion. The question now remains as to whether or not the WWE will build credible contenders to Reigns or have him stand alone as the only WWE-created draw within the company."
