[2.0] "Despite a great pedigree, during his time in TNA, Wes never really seemed to have a whole lot going for him - after a terrible debut match, he became a second-stringer with the Aces and Eights, and never really showed much in the way of in-ring ability or personality to rise above that level. In the big time, could maybe hack it as a lower-tier tag wrestler, but seems more likely to end up a lifer on the indies."

[4.0] "At an indie level, Wes Brisco is a standout tag wrester who can even hang in singles action. Yet he never made it past FCW while a WWE prospect and never emerged as anything other than a background character during his time in TNA. Though he made an appearance in NJPW due to his allegiance with the NWA, he may make the most of his career in the indies as opposed to the major or secondary promotions."

[6.0] "I think when Wes Brisco came into TNA and joined the Aces & Eights, I think people were too quick to judge him when most of the world didn't know much about him and his abilities too much beforehand. But for me, I've watched Wes Brisco ever since he basically started his pro wrestling career in FCW and as he progressed in his rookie years in 2009 and 2010, I thought he became at least decent in the ring and as a character and I thought his finishing maneuver off the top rope which was known as Splash Ink was very innovative. Then a year later after his WWE release, he comes into TNA and he's a part of the Aces & Eights and he was in a feud with Kurt Angle and while I agree that a lot of the stuff he has done up to this point have not been too stellar, he is not horrible as a lot of fans probably want to make him out to be. He still may be a bit green even though he's been in pro wrestling for about 4 years now and he still botches a few things here and there, but he can and he does have the potential to improve greatly and I think last Sunday at Slammiversary, he really showed me at least that he's starting that improvement off just right. I think that especially since now he's finally getting mainstream exposure from wrestling fans on a big wrestling stage like TNA, I think people just need to give Wes time to improve on his skills before they think to judge him any further."

[6.0] "Wes Brisco only wrestled one match, and that was a squash match in which he took a sick german suplex, and people as a result call him a terrible wrestler? That honestly makes little sense to me. I have seen him wrestle before TNA, and while he isn't as good as his father, he is a talented wrestler in his own right. I do think he should go to OVW, with Garret Bischoff to polish his wrestling, but he isn't a bad wrestler at all."

[1.0] "He hasn't the Brisco talent. He is too green, basic moves and his match with Garrett Bischoff was horrible."
