[5.0] "You have to wonder what type of career Sean O'Haire would've had if the WCW hadn't been overtaken by the WWE. After completing his training at the WCW Power Plant, O'Haire was placed into a pretty favorable position with the WCW, winning their WCW Tag Team Titles in relatively short order. When the WCW moved over to the WWE, he earned the WCW Tag Title as a member of the WWE's roster as well. Yet after his time as WCW Tag Champion was up, he rode the carousel between the WWE and OVW until he was released. Sadly, O'Haire didn't adjust well to life outside of the ring, and took his own life after a long battle with substance abuse."

[7.0] "From the time he showed up on Monday Nitro as a Power Plant rookie and, with Mark Jindrak, scored an upset win over Juventud Guerrera and Rey Misterio Jr. in his first televised match, O'Haire seemed like such a can't miss prospect. Had the look and intensity, and although his ring skills were rough around the edges early on, he had a unique skill set incorporating martial arts strikes and high-flying maneuvers (rare to see a big man using a Swanton Bomb as a finisher). After he and Chuck Palumbo came to the WWF as reigning WCW Tag Champs during the Invasion, O'Haire was shuffled off to developmental and emerged with a series of memorable "Devil's Advocate" vignettes, which were among the most intriguing of the mid-2000s, but the writing team never seemed to figure out how to translate them to the ring. Had the booking not failed him - and had he not had the personal issues that would eventually lead to his taking his own life - who knows what might have been. I think his career trajectory might have been very different had WCW survived."

[5.0] "O'Haire had a lot of potential. He had a superstar look, an incredible ability to move like a lightweight, and seemed to be getting the hang of the whole 'cuttin' a promo' thing. Stood out as a star in The Natural Born Thrillers and had some exciting pre-debut vignettes in WWE, but never got to take that next step. Good thing, it sounds like, considering his terrible track record as a human being, but who knows what could've been."
