[2.0] "I'd completely forgotten about Shane Hagadorn! I was just trying to rationalize my rating for Adam Pearce when I found myself confused as to why I felt like I liked Pearce alright, yet got cold sweat trying to recollect some of his ROH segments. Now I remember! It's almost not fair to rate Hagadorn as he started performing on ROH events immediately after (maybe even slightly before? ) graduating from ROH's wrestling school, which didn't exactly provide its trainees with a WWE Performance Center-like experience. Hagadorn therefore came into ROH looking very little like a wrestler, having both a terrible physique (like, he looked like a fat nerd who didn't really take care of himself) and being green as goosecrap. In a company that at the time was still very much about all-out performances from top-level indie talent, a guy like that obviously stands out. ROH knew this, to be fair, and so they mostly had the ROH training school trainees wrestle each other, or in Hagadorn's case, act as goon for someone else. I understand their intentions, but man, Hagadorn and co. stood out in a bad way. He had some heel charisma, but he got X-Pac heat from me from very early on, unfortunately. Maybe he's since gone on to do better things, but I can't say I've heard of him for a long time."
