[4.0] "Dave Sullivan had the size and the look to become a star - He even managed to earn a regional NWA tag title while wrestling in Portland's fabled PNW (alongside The Grappler. ) However, Sullivan was made to jump up the professional ranks pretty early on in his career (due to his physical gifts and promise of better pay) and as a consequence, never developed a true knack for wrestling before making the major promotions. While Sullivan looked tough in appearances for CWA and New Japan, he was booked as a dyslexic, jobbing goof by the time he made it into the WCW. Due to the unpopularity of his character, Sullivan was largely used as a preliminary talent before leaving WCW in 1996. Following his retirement from wrestling, Sullivan has since found employment as a fitness trainer and athletics coordinator."

I got the impression he was a well liked guy with friends in high places so he was given enough rope to hang himself... sadly he got tangled up in it when it came time to perform. At least he gave me time to grab a snack when his matches were on the show."
