[3.0] "Aiden English's star is finally on the rise after a rather lengthy apprenticeship in the WWE's developmental system now that he's found a partner who compliments him. Though English cut his teeth in the Midwestern indies, it was his height and athleticism that opened the door for him to become a WWE developmental talent early on in his career. Though he was initially used as an enhancement talent at the developmental level, he eventually found a solid compliment in the more-experienced Simon Gotch to form The Vaudevillains. Together, their gimmick of old-time wrestlers (who work well as either faces or heels) is finally paying off as they've managed to earn the NXT Tag Team Championship. English will need to do more to carve his niche in the annals of wrestling, but he's definitely on the right path."

[6.0] "Aiden English has found something in The Vaudevillians. It was obvious from the start that he was not going to work out as a singles guy. His gimmick, an actor, was plain dumb, and there is really nothing impressive about his physique or movies. However, he does have serious charisma. He's great on the mic. Also, his work with Simon Gotch is very impressive. They counter one another very well, and the gimmick is fun and one that works. Since I am rating him as a singles wrestler, 6/10 feels fair. However, I think in terms of tag team action, English grades out much higher."

[8.0] "Total package, I can't wait for this guy to make it up to the main roster. There's so many different things you can do with him, he would mesh well with Damien Sandow or Fandango as well. The only thing that drives me crazy is his name, the first name Aiden isn't old school enough for him they should have used a name such as Arthur, Clive or Montgomery. Love the unique gimmick and think he is extremely gifted on the microphone."
