Overview

What is there to tell you about wrestlers that you do not already know? Well, you can find that answer out yourself by browsing our massive wrestlers database that has been the backbone of the site since 2005. The biggest stars and the most unknown rookies, all of them are included in the database and can be commented on, rated and generally browsed for huge amounts of information -- as long as the individuals have received professional training. No backyarders allowed, so please do not contact us about your buddy just because he can do a really cool pile driver. Non-wrestlers, like referees, commentators or promoters are included as well as a few celebrities who have stepped into the ring themselves. However, for celebrities the rating system has been deactivated (you can still comment on them), because this is not the place to rate celebrities; this is the one place to rate wrestlers.

[8.0] "Anderson defeated Naito with the Gun Stun in a decent , the smaller man flying around the ring but eventually getting caught and pummelled by his larger opponent. The dynamic between the pair of them was good and the work was interesting"
[10.0] "Okada, then, had to win and he was coming up against a much tougher proposition in the rejuvenated Minoru Suzuki. This was the match of the night, and rightly main evented – Suzuki used all his dirty tricks to try and push Okada to the limit, immediately working on his arm on the outside to try and disable the Rainmaker lariat, sinking in deep armbars and wrenching the wrist of his opponent repeatedly. I seriously wonder whether this tournament would have been less good had Suzuki not become the baddest mother fucker on the planet halfway through, because he seems to now have great matches to spare in his belt. Okada gave it all back to Suzuki and from about halfway on this was straight fire, the two throwing out big moves and seemingly trying to just hurt the other guy as much as possible. Okada even Gotched up his Tombstone, wrapping his arms between the legs of Suzuki, and when they stuck a brilliant finish on in which Suzuki punched Okada in the face to rile him into hitting a finishing flurry, closing the match out with the Rainmaker, it meant this was yet another match to add to the list of greats from this three week period."
[8.0] "With Tanahashi wanting to steal the block by winning his match with Davey Boy Smith Jr. , he quickly built up a head of steam after the early exchanges, leading to him nailing a High Fly Flow onto his opponent on the outside of the ring. Unfortunately for him, the momentum swung back to Smith after that, the gaijin using the barricade to his advantage to take over the match and beat Tanahashi down. A series of suplexes, including an exploder and a bridging tiger variation, weren’t enough for Smith Jr. to put his opponent away, but when he got caught in the Bulldog Bomb Tanahashi had no answer. The drama of Tanahashi having to win this added so much to proceedings and lifted a pretty good match up – the crowd bought into it and Hiroshi doing everything he could to end it, as well as showing some fighting spirit to kick out of big moves, really got you on the edge of your seat."
